Four states' fired-because-of-marriage 'victim': 'When did I say I was fired b/c of Civil Marriage Act?'

All four state inequality campaigns are using National Organization For Marriage employee Damian Goddard as an example of someone who was supposedly fired because of marriage. But check this out. In a series of tweets with @GordonEcker, Goddard claims he has never actually claimed that he was fired because of marriage equality itself:

Just to remind you, this is what the state ads are saying:

The sole claim of the spot is that marriage in the states (in this case Maine) will lead...

MN For Marriage's deputy campaign director remains snippy; 'Who are you?' he asks of @margarethoover

Watching Andy Parrish's Twitter twists, meltdowns, and dramatic turns has been a highlight of this campaign. Here's what the Minnesota For Marriage's lead voice tweeted yesterday when he heard that a CNN anchor, GOP scion, and frequent TV pundit was coming to his area:

Video: We like gay people—really! Just not their equal rights under the law.

"I love those people! They can be great hair dressers and stylists. And they're so funny too! Perfect for a great day out at the mall, gabbing about Bravo and grabbing the latest trends. I grab a big ol' iced mocha and a gay and I'm good to go. Because I'm a nice person, after all.

MN For Marriage pushes sham medical org

The American College of Pediatricians is a tiny, ideologically-driven splinter organization that was created by the far-right and given a purposely innocuous name for the sole purpose of confusing the credible data put out by the 60,000+ member American Academy of Pediatrics. This is the same American College of Pediatricians that National Institute of Health Director Francis S. Collins, M.D., Ph.D smacked down after he discovered that they were twisting his work. This organization has zero c...

Video: There's only one side working to break vows, MN For Marriage! (*and it's you, btw)

Nobody promised Vermont innkeepers that they could violate nondiscrimination laws that predate marriage equality itself.

Nobody promised Catholic Charities that they could both take state money and discriminate against certain kinds of families.

Nobody promised Damian "gay relationships are like man-on-dog" Goddard that he could tweet that he would always remain on contract with a Canadian sports network.

Nobody promised Ake Green that he, a resident of a nation without marriage equality, could...

Video: D.C. Archdiocese exalts individually chosen faith belief above shared public policy

Washington D.C. already has marriage equality. So what's the local Archdiocese to do? Well tell Maryland voters how to stand in the way of civil fairness, of course:
