Video: Sam Clovis pre-launches U.S. Senate campaign by going on rabidly anti-LGBT show, accusing gays of wanting to breakdown society
Radio host Sam Clovis is expected to soon announce his intent to run for U.S. Senate, looking to fill the seat of retiring Democratic stalwart Tom Harkin. As a pre-game to that expected announcement, Clovis chose to go on the American Family Radio show of the exceedingly hostile Bryan Fischer, where the would-be Senator accused marriages like mine of having a real agenda geared at "breaking down the family" before then attacking basic nondiscrimination protections for LGBT people (his logic b...
Upcoming FRC lecture: Person-who-slept-with-women-but-now-doesn't-who-still-IDs-by-what-she-used-to-do-rather-than-what-she-now-claims-to-be
If you're in the D.C. area this Wednesday, you can listen to another person who made a personal choice to stop having a certain kind of sex parlay her personal (and largely faith-drive) decision into a supposed repudiation of homosexuality altogether. Details at link:
The details: FRC
Light lunch will reportedly be served. If you attend and partake, choose for yourself if you care to identify as "formerly hungry," "currently full," or "no thanks, this atni-LGBT propaganda turns my stomach too...
Poll: Even greater majority of Californians embrace history's right side
A positive shift across all demographics:
The [USC Dornsife/Los Angeles Times poll] found that 58% of the state's registered voters believe same-sex marriage should be legal, compared with 36% against, a margin of 22 points. When the same pollsters asked that question three years ago, 52% favored gay marriage and 40% opposed it, a 12-point spread.

No word on what percentage of Californians will feel ridiculous once they...
John Helmberger shows why we can never believe 'protect marriage' campaign spin (#Animus)
During last November's attempt to put a marriage discrimination amendment in the state constitution, we got a version of Minnesota Family Council CEO John Helmberger who was on his best behavior. In interviews or even on panels hosted by extreme groups like the Family Research Council, Helmberger kept his words on the focused side. He kept it all about "protecting marriage."
That's the way it always is during campaign season. The leaders of these groups realize that a ballot campaign puts a b...
Self-described bisexual Robert Oscar Lopez equates gay parents with 'slavers buying children'
Gay people are just engaging in propaganda when they say the love their kids. So claims this bit of partisan-driven nastiness from one Robert Oscar Lopez:
"The testimonials from happy children of same-sex couples are obviously handpicked and staged to maximize the value of propaganda, but a gullible populace won't ask what isn't being printed or broadcast. A gullible populace prefers ingesting whatever is printed or broadcast. "Love" is a meaningless mantra, like "nobody is really listening to...
Audio: IL Bishop Thomas Paprocki says 'the father of lies' is behind marriage equality
You probably thought that human beings are behind civil marriage equality. Nope. It's the Devil:
[A Closer Look, 6/7/13]
Hear that, all of you who are focusing on things like constitutions, lawmakers, judges, laws, licenses, nondiscrimination policies, and the millions of mortal humans who form loving bonds with members of the same-sex? Unless you instead direct your attention to an unseen demonic force with a vendetta, you are just deceived. Sillyheads.
It remains to be seen if Bishop Paprocki...

Video: Your fetus is happy, healthy, and gay; keep him or her that way.
One of the cases I've always made (and one that I especially make in my book) is that no person is "immune" from having an LGBT person enter his or her life. You may not know one solitary LGBT person right now, but you very well might someday. This is one of the many reasons why straight allies should understand that this current civil rights fight is a human rights fight which knows no sexual orientation or gender identity.
This strong new ad out of Australia continues making that case:
(h/t...
Audio: Illinois anti-gays to march against marriage equality, claim homosexuality 'is not normal' #il4m
Apostle Debra Gaines is gathering the troops for a weekend march in Chicago. Listen in as she admits that her war against civil marriage equality is really a battle against the very normalcy of homosexuality:
[The Drew Mariani Show, 6/6/13]
It's never just about marriage. The people who helped stall the marriage bill are going right for our peace of mind as LGBT people.
We know this; we need to ensure that Illinois legislators knows it as well. If they know the true extent, they might not be so...
Preview: Alan Chambers apologizes to, confronted by LGBT community
I've been having discussions with Alan Chambers for a few months now, and I will soon have more on that. In the mean time, a preview of Alan's upcoming followup special with OWN's Lisa Ling:

Your marriage is a lie. Love, NOM.
As they lose more and more along the path toward inevitable equality, expect the National Organization For Marriage to ratchet up the denigrations:
[NOM]
I call him my husband, actually. So does the state of New York. So does President Obama. So do a majority of Americans.
NOM can call him "tail," "leg," or "butterscotch sundae," for all I care. But they cannot force their personal (and 98+% faith-based) slights into public policy. Period. Full stop.
