Anti-LGBT pundits hate nothing more than own words, example #532,123

Thanks for the GLAAD CAP shout out, Brent Bozell:

The official gay censorship lobbies — from the Orwellian-named "GLAAD" to the National Lesbian and Gay Journalists Association — define "fairness and accuracy" as being stories that try to scrape "fairness" away, treating opposition like used gum on someone's shoe. GLAAD created what they call the "Commentator Accountability Project" designed to discourage reporters and TV bookers from booking "hate" guests.

To quote GLAAD censor Aaron McQuad...

Well if CBN says it, it must be true

All you need is the headline:

In a related story, ESPN thinks sports are kind of cool.

AG Holder: Whichever way SCOTUS goes, work continues

Attorney General Eric Holder:

Screen Shot 2013-06-18 At 11.31.25 Am
"There are, as we all know, two important decisions the Supreme Court must render in the coming days. Through our capable Solicitor General, and backed by the President, we have made our positions clear. Though we hope that the results of these cases are consistent with the core values that serve as the foundation of our great nation, the work that lies before us today will not be completed by favorable opinions.

Especially this morning, we must recommit ourselves...

Video: Powerful 'Families Are Forever' trailer (watch and share!)

This:

Family Acceptance Project

The full film will premiere this weekend (6/22) at San Francisco's Frameline film festival. Here's hoping it makes its way to the private film festivals that play out in the living rooms across this great (but still too non-accepting) nation.

Republican does what all GOP candidates will eventually do (i.e. accept gays); feels MassResistance's wrath (i.e. tsk-tsking blog post)

Anti-gay group MassResistance is coming out against Republican U.S Senate candidate Gabriel Gomez for showing up and campaigning at Boston's Gay Pride Festival:

It's interesting how these groups are starting to realize the future that's playing out before them. The stranglehold is slowly lessening and their awareness is setting in. While the GOP is still far from a pro-LGBT party, more and more candidates are looking to demography, the future, and some basic inevitabilities, mo...

NOM versus Jennifer Aniston's three-year-old opinion

Linking to a Brad Wilcox piece that uses the same setup, NOM is now questioning the onetime Rachel Green on the personal parental opinions that the actor voiced nearly three years ago:

When reached for comment, Aniston asked, "NOM? What's that? Isn't that the sound I make when I'm eating corn?"

'Discriminating with the Stars': Reality TV personality to head FRC's Action arm

Regular G-A-Y readers know that I've long taken issue with the way the mainstream media treats the Duggar family. Namely, I've held beef with the way MSM reporters tend to act like the Duggar story that the TLC network has been airing for years is just a homespun tale of family values when, in fact, the family is quite politically active with rabidly anti-LGBT groups. That last part seems to get either completely overlooked or mentioned in passing.

Yeah, well—now there's this:

Josh Duggar, the...

FRC back to scanning Google Images for drag queens; ENDA must be back in news

This is the Family Research Council's latest anti-ENDA (Employment Nondiscrimination Act) graphic:

Wu13F11 Normal

[FRC]

High-minded as always, that FRC.

The person in the image is clearly in full drag regalia and is likely not even transgender. But that of distinction doesn't matter to FRC. They want you to believe that protecting transgender men and women from the collective cruelty that is employment nondiscrimination means that all standards of behavior and dress are then removed from the American businessp...
