Audio: NOM's Joe Grabowski offers hilarious (but sad) take on the judicial system

We've always known that the other side hates the judiciary most of all because it is the place where their talking points and spin jobs meet actual scrutiny. But yesterday on Catholic Radio's Drew Mariani show, National Organization For Marriage staffer Joe Grabowski really showed his hand when he claimed that LGBT activists "use platforms like the judicial process" because courts are places where "there's just not as much opportunity for the varying sides of an issue to have their voices hea...

ADF's Kellie Fiedorek: Opposing LGBT equality is just like what Rosa Parks did

A Stanford student attended a recent talk in which Kellie Fiedorek of the extremely anti-LGBT Alliance Defending Freedom spoke on LGBT rights topics. In said speech, Kellie proceeded to compare the anti-gay Prop 8 donation of Mozilla's Brendan Eich, the anti-gay action of Washington florist Baronelle Stutzman (she turned away a gay client), and the—civil rights heroism of Rosa Parks?!?! What the huh?!

Marvel at the ahistorical attempt to turn the proudly discriminatory into the victims of disc...

Audio: Two Tony Perkins clips Megyn Kelly should play on tonight's show

Family Research Council president Tony Perkins will be on Fox News The Kelly File tonight to talk about the Elane Photography case. He will surely play "mainstream Tony" on that show because he wants to seem like a mere conservative politico and not the rabid anti-LGBT activist that he is. But today on his own radio show, where the true viciousness comes out, Tony let it all lose. He equated what's happening with LGBT rights with what happened during Nazi Germany (first clip, alongside ADF's...

Unearthed: 1988 lesbian field guide

New York magazine critic Jody Rosen reminds us why it's good to help our friends pack. Mainly it's so we stumble upon priceless ephemera like this, a 1988 guide for dealing with the lesbian in her natural habitat:

Do not feed your lesbian after midnight. Should your lesbian start to shed, make sure your vacuum is a canister rather than a stick. If your lesbian says she is voting for Bush, do not assume she means George. Make sure your lesbian is...

NOM selling $10,000 tickets to a gala related to its 'March for Marriage'

Apparently, in addition to its second annual "march for marriage," the pro-discrimination National Organization For Marriage will also host a gala event on June 19. For a few thousand bucks, you and your allies in inequality can get a table and fete an organization that has banked virtually no win in the past two years:

It's costly, the wrong side of history!

Without wasting a second, ADF fundraises off Elane Photography loss (#AllYouNeedToKnow)

The anti-LGBT far-right is playing, exploiting, and sadly misdirecting the "victims" who they trump up in order to make their case for "religious freedom." I've been saying it for years. The anti-LGBT movement will convince these "victims" that their facts are solid and that their case is winnable, even when it's obvious to credible legal experts that the opposite is true. These groups (Alliance Defending Freedom, National Organization For Marriage, Heritage, Family Research Council, etc.) wi...

Video: Illinois inequality activists lobby for dangerous, offensive, anti-scientific snake oil

Calling it "pro healthy change therapy counseling" and "pro-heterosexual counseling and therapy," false advertiser Peter LaBarbera makes the case for a scientifically discredited form of "therapy" whose days are numbered:

BREAKING: SCOTUS won't hear 'I want to discriminate against gay clients' case

The U.S. Supreme Court just denied cert in the Elane Photography case:

Lower court stands. Good news for gay couples who deserve fair treatment in public accommodations; bad news for those discriminatory photographers who are not good enough actors to fake being all booked up whenever a same-sex couple makes a service request.
