Gay activists have 'insatiable intolerance' claims straight guy who daily denigrates gay people for profit, political access

Tony Perkins, on break from saying some of the worst things imaginable about LGBT people and working to pass/overturn laws so that LGBT people have a tougher track in life, says the following about a recent development:

"Just over the past few days the insatiable intolerance of homosexual activists has become abundantly clear. On Monday the Supreme Court declined to hear an appeal of the Elane Photography decision arising out of New Mexico. Business owner and wedding photographer Elaine Huguen...

'Mountains' of fake research filled with 'pages and pages' of invisible ink

And now a man with an admitted belief that Satan is behind homosexuality will insist that the research world is simply teeming with evidence showing that kids do better with a mother and father:

Jeff Johnston, marriage and sexuality analyst for Focus on the Family, said there is a mountain of evidence to back up those claims [that children do best in a home with a married mother and father].

“There are pages and pages of studies that show that children do best in so many different ways when the...

Read: NOM's false advertising dept. issues 2014 March For Marriage propaganda

Every credible poll in recent memory shows either sizable or bare majority in support of marriage equality. But never one to let credibility stand in its way, the two-year-losing-streaked National Organization For Marriage is still claiming that "[t]he majority of citizens in the majority of states still believe in marriage as the union of one man and one woman."

That's just one piece of silliness you can find in this, a list of silly things that NOM is saying to support its pro-discrimination...

No longer doing anti-LGBT movement's bidding, Chick-fil-a head says he's 'become more wise'

Back when so many people were accepting the far-right talking point that they had "won" the whole Chick-fil-A controversy, I, a person who was at the center of that storm, was a dissenting voice saying that the whole thing was actually a disaster for the company and its reputation, and that whatever boost the fast food chain was experiencing at the time was ultimately unsustainable. It was so clear to me that this whole thing was a PR disaster for the company—one that couldn't be offset by a...

NOM's Thomas Peters called us 'forces of evil' (and much more)—but we're the ones damaging discourse?

Thomas Peters has spent the past few years working for the National Organization For Marriage, where the sole purpose is to deny gay people of deserved civil rights.

Thomas Peters has advocated for what was described as "a 12 step program" for homosexuality.

Thomas Peters has declared that Gay Straight Alliances "promote behaviors that hurt the human person."

Tipping his hand to what he sees as the endgame, Thomas has determined that what he calls "the homosexual agenda" cannot "coexist peaceful...

Audio: Tony Perkins wants Speaker Boehner to have AG Holder arrested during the State of the Union

In the fall of 2012, the US Department of Justice Office of the Inspector General conducted a nineteen month investigation and cleared Attorney General Holder of any wrongdoing related to the Fast and Furious Investigation, delivering a blow to the Republicans who were hoping to turn it into an election year trip-up.

But you know, facts. Truth. Investigations that cut through partisan spin. None of that matters to conservative darling Tony Perkins. Which is why Perkins now wants AG Holder arr...

Ben Carson to keynote National Organization For Marriage gala

Yesterday, I told you about the gala for which the pro-discrimination, two-year-losing-streaked National Organization For Marriage is selling ridiculously high dollar tickets. Today we learn the big draws that NOM thinks will rake in that kind of cash:

NOM Gala

Will Mr. Carson again reference NAMBLA and bestiality in his condemnation of same-sex marriage? Will he again claim that equality activists are "directly attacking the relationship between God and his people"? Or will he repeat his belie...

Video: NOM prez says young people's 'natural rebellion' will turn them against equality

During an hourlong webinar with the Lutheran Church Missouri Synod, National Organization For Marriage president Brian Brown bemoaned the culture that has made people who hold his view seems like "fuddy duddies." But it's okay because young people's "natural rebellion" of younger people will eventually turn the tide in his favor.

Clip is cued:

Totally, Brian! In fact, I think there's going to be a new kind of Woodstock around the year 2019, where young people will gather in mass to watch Herita...

Sporty anti-gay person joins exceedingly anti-gay organization

Screen Shot 2014-04-08 At 1.48.42 PmBack in 2012, when running for U.S. Senate, former sportscaster Craig James said of homosexuality:

I think it's a choice. I do. I think—you have to make that choice. Absolutely. I'm gonna finish this up now. Same-sex marriage, if someone chooses to do that, that's them. And the Lord—God's going to judge each one of us in this room for our actions. But in that case right there, they're going to have to answer to the Lord for their actions. We should not give benefits to those civil unions.

...
