When reading fanfiction, how important is canon compliance (to you, personally)?

I won’t even consider reading anything non-canon-compliant

A few inconsistencies are okay, as long as it makes sense

Divergence from canon is mostly fine as long as a few key things stay the same

Canon compliance is nice, but not that important
