queermediarepresentation:

Jury’s Greatest Hits is acomedic dramaabout three English brothers—Scott, Trace, and Ethan Jury—who form a rock band in the late 1970s. And Trace isn’t the only one with problems: Scott d...

A PERFECT MAN

MOUSEHOLE - The town is quiet. With its children in school and its menat sea,the only company to be had is the sound and smell of the waves lapping against the shore. A curve of green- and brown-capped houses isprotected from Poseidon’s whims by a high stone wall. Before the wall lies a short stretch of lonely yellow sand and an abandonedharbour.

"Cheeseburger first."

People magazine’s archives continue to be a source of eternal amusement.

I found this article about when Robert Downey Jr. got out of prison in 2000. What do you suppose was the first thing he wanted to do with his newfound freedom? Hint: if you’ve seen Iron Man, you already know the answer.

Given that a) this was in a magazine so any of the cast and crew could have seen it, and b) the script for Iron Man wasn’t finished when they started shooting, requiring Downey to ad-lib a...

Uh.

First off the wood thing needs some explaining, though I commend Wondy’s can-do spirit. Secondly, I’m pretty sure Superman knows by now that his hair is superstrong and is therefore just fucking with this guy to make him break all his scissors. I think that set he’s holding is actually hedge trimmers, which are also futile against Superman—although to press scissors enough to actually break him the guy must be pretty strong himself.

Meanwhile Digger escapes from this lunacy with...

Jury's Greatest Hits is now available on Amazon!

Want to read about an ’80s English rock band that’s fantastically successful professionally and utter failures at everything else? Then this is the book for you. Jury’s Greatest Hits switches points of view between its four main characters—homesick and lovelorn Scott, brooding and closeted Trace, curious yet easily bored Ethan, and naively confident Jodie—to bring you a dramatic comedy about why earning fame isn’t the same as knowing what to do with it.

You...

Your Daily Dose of "Did Not Do the Research"

I just read an article that described Stan Lee as “the artist behind Spider-Man.”

What.
