ARE LEADERS BORN OR MADE?

Whether you were born a leader or not, it does not matter. What matters is that you were born with a seed of leadership. If you nurture the seed in the right environment, it will germinate, grow and blossom. You are a leader. Make sure to work on it.

Avoid shouting and singing ontop of your voice. It damages vocals.
Sing without raising your voice too much to avoid damaging vocals.
Avoid coffee and fizzy drinks. They dry the throat.
Lots of rest is need before vocal recording.
Dont sing too much before the studio day. Be light and sing high notes in your heart.
Drink warm water or ginger tea. This softens the throat.
Wear light shoes to the studio. This avoids pressure on your feet as you stand long hours.
Drink lots of warm water before and during recording.
Use an air filter in your bedroom. This removes dirt from your air.
Avoid unnecessary talking to preserve your vocals.
Avoid eating dairy and gluten. These contribute to excess mucus that causes problems while singing.
Do vocal warm ups – loosen up chest muscles, lungs, and vocal codes.
Enough practice is a must. Know all the lyrics by heart and avoid reading, which sounds boring.
Do excises and stretches. Loosen muscles of your legs, diaphragm, neck, and back before singing.
Rest your voice every half hour.
Be ready to spend 2 hours per song in the studio. There are lots of repetitions and corrections int in the process.

What suggestions do you have for singers going to the studio?
