CROSS-LINKING A SUCCESS!
Thanks to Dr. Tyrone McCall, Candy, and the entire staff at Cornea Associates of Texas! They provided excellent care to Noah before, during, and after his cross-linking procedure for Keratoconus. We are glad to be back home in Alabama! Our next post-op check will be in three months. We’ve appreciated all of your well wishes and prayers during this time.
I will be resuming Jennifer’s guest blog journaling her experiences in Haiti tonight.

A call for prayer…
Ephesians 6:10-18
10Finally, be strong in the Lordand in his mighty power.11Put on the full armor of God,so that you can take your stand against the devil’s schemes.12For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powersof this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms.13Therefore put on the full armor of God,so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground, and after you have...

GUEST BLOG: Jennifer’s Haiti
The following posting was written by Jennifer Waters, journaling her experiences while traveling in Haiti.
Hot, Hot, Hot:
The plane touched down and immediately all of my senses were heightened. The door opened and as we were leaving the plane, I was hit smack in the face with my first reality check. WOW was it hot. In spite of the heat...

Dear Laurie
Just wanted to congratulate you on receiving your author award.
I just finished reading your book and it was wonderful.
Don’t find enough time to read novels now; and it usually takes me a while to get through whatever I start. Finished your book in 2 days.
Great character and great story and obviously well written, it kept me right there till the very end. Looking forward to the next book.
May the God of Heaven bless you and watch over you.

GUEST BLOG: Jennifer’s Haiti

So here we go:
Weeks later, with passport in hand and literally everything I was taking on the three day trip crammed into a backpack, I was off to Haiti- clueless as to what waited for me on the other end of the flight. I had gone to meetings, heard about what to do and not to do, learned safety precautions, created song books and CD”s full of new worship songs for them, cried, and prayed...
