Almost there

First draft of revisions for THE TYCOON'S LIVE-IN LOVE...done!

Finished them last night, immediately collapsed into bed to sleep.

My hero, Callum is suitably more alpha and has swept the heroine Starr off her feet.

And they live happily ever after. The End.

Okay, so it's a lot more complicated than that but I'm just too tired at the moment to think, so looking forward to doing final read-through, sending this baby off, then getting stuck back into Coming Home.

After just a few more hours sleep...

Indian food

Almost every person who has read A TRIP WITH THE TYCOON has commented on the food aspect, and the fact the book made them hungry/crave Indian food.

In the story, I mentioned traditional Goan dishes, like bibinca and sorpotel (you'll have to read the book to discover what they are!), and added other Indian dishes like fish moilee, masala dosai, fried prawns in spicy masala...hmm, I'm getting hungry now too!

So while all you eager readers wait for the next installment of ONE INDIAN SUMMER , I figured

The next big thing

For fans of Aussie TV, there's a new action drama on Channel 9, Rescue Special Ops.
The show's good.
The talent better.

This is Andrew Lees, a graduate of NIDA and touted as the next big thing in acting.

This photo doesn't do him justice.

If you're after a little hero inspiration, check him out.

Count down...

I'm getting excited! Only a few more days until my free online read ONE INDIAN SUMMER launches at eharlequin. Monday is the day you can start reading how Khushi meets Harrison on beautiful Colva Beach in Goa.

I'm dying to give you a snippet but you'll just have to wait...

In the meantime, I'm working through my revisions for The Tycoon's Live-In Love. Made a simple change in chapter one and the rest is flowing nicely. Not half as daunting as first thought, which is always the way.

I think the fir

Another Top 10 book!

The last fortnight, A TRIP WITH THE TYCOON made it into eharlequin's list of Top 10 Road Trip books. This week, TWO WEEKS IN THE MAGNATE'S BED is in the Top 10 Reasons to Believe in Love list. Awww....

Both books are available online now and hitting US shelves shortly!

Last night, I hit the wall.

Apparently, I can't do 5.30am starts and 11pm finishes with running around all day. I felt blah, so went to bed at 9pm.

Need a new working plan...

The alpha man

I need to 'alpha' up Callum.

My editor says 'Callum is a lovely man-gorgeous and kind and honorable. However, he's more like a Romance hero than a Mod Heat one at the moment.'

He's just too nice!

Ah, the joys of writing for two series :)

Unenviable position

I find myself in the unenviable position of having to revise my last book and frantically write a deadline book.

Revisions for THE TYCOON'S LIVE-IN LOVE landed late in my inbox last night (need to really nail what motivates Starr) so I have to tackle those while trying to write my current Romance, COMING HOME.

I'm usually way ahead in my books but feels a little tense now. Revising flirty, sexy Mod Heat while trying to delve deep into the emotional Romance.

I guess blog posts will be brief for a w

The hangover

I don't actually have a hangover but I bet there are a few bleary-eyed writers stumbling back to their respective parts of the country as we speak.

Not from alcohol consumption but from the glorious exhaustion that follows chattering non stop, attending workshops and generally having a whoop up time at a writers conference.

I may have missed Brisbane this year but watch out Sydney 2010, here I come!

A huge thanks to everyone for dropping by here over the weekend, I've loved reading your comments.
