Friday Finds!
Awhile back I mentioned in one of my posts that I was less than impressed with my recent visits to our local Goodwill. It seemed every time I stopped in, I either couldn't find anything I was interested in, or, if I did, the price tag was a bit to high for my taste.
Well, that all changed this last weekend, when hubby and I went shopping and decided to go another Goodwill in the city.

Hello everyone! I hope you all had a great weekend!
It has been so hot and HUMID here in our neck of the woods, that hubby and I, tried to stay indoors as much as possible.
After the hectic week we both had, we decided to take the day off on Saturday, and make a trip into the city, where we enjoyed a delicious lunch and some 'retail' therapy.

Apple-Raisin Kuchen
I'm ready for Fall.
There I said it.
Don't hate me.
It's not that I don't like summer. I do.
And no-I am not looking forward to another freezing cold winter. I hate everything about winter (except, of course, for Christmas!)
But I LOVE everything about FALL!
And the signs are all around me, that my favorite time of year, is right around the corner.
The kiddo's are going back to

Dining Room Makeover-FINAL Reveal!
Way back when (March)-I decided that our dining room was so drab and dark, that it definitely needed an update!

It had to be that darn full moon!
Have you ever had one of those weeks where everything that could go wrong, did go wrong? Well, my sweet friends, that is exactly the kind of week- last week was for this gal!!!
Computer malfunctions-water breaks-phone glitches-doctor visits(thankfully nothing serious)-a chipmunk in our basement...and on and on I could go.
