Interview with Khloe and Jagger from Death’s Storm
I step out of my car and breathed in the crisp autumn air. The mountains were so beautiful this time of year. I looked around at the multi-colored landscape and sighed. I have got to talk the hubby into moving up here. Shriving at the sudden cool breeze I move to the front porch of the Bradenton cabin. Before I could knock, Khloe opened the door and greeted me with a smile.
Khloe: Oh good you made it. Did you find the place alright?
Me: *nodding* Yes, plus Willow met me about a quarter mile before I reached the driveway.
Khloe: *laughing, she stepped aside and ushered me inside* Yeah, she’s good that way. Have a seat. Jagger will be here in a few.
*I sat on the sofa while Khloe walked around the kitchen island that separated the two rooms*
Me: Where is he?
Khloe: He and Lex had to see Hecate about new developments in the war.
Me: *I frowned* There are more? Is it something I already know?
Khloe: *She walked back into the living room with a tray holding two tea cups and a jar of honey* No, you don’t know yet. Hell, I don’t even know what the demon brothers are up to. I’ll get it out of Jagger later. *she winked and I laughed*
*The French doors at the back of the living room opened and Jagger entered. His gaze met mind and he nodded before he enveloped Khloe in a tight hug and kissed her neck, then her lips.*
Jagger: I hope you weren’t waiting long.
Me: No. I just got here. So how is that brother of yours?
Jagger: Lex will always be Lex.
Khloe: *snorted* Yes, freakishly quiet, yet deadly. I’m glad he’s on our team. However, I did see a tiny twitch of his lips that looked a little like a smile trying to break free the other day when Cassia was over the house.
Jagger: *threw his head back in a laugh* I saw that, too. But that little girl has away to get into your heart.
Me: *I nodded in agreement* Yes, she does.
*I cleared me throat and prepared to ask my first question. One that has been bugging me for a while*
Khloe, are you up to talk about the…life altering…?
Khloe: No.
*I stold a quick glance at Jagger, who just shook his head as he lead Khloe to the arm chair across from me. He sat and pulled her into his lap*
Me: Are you still mad? Are you dealing with it okay?
Khloe: No, I’m not mad. I’m adjusting.
Me: *Okay, she really wasn’t in the mood to talk about it. So I changed the subject* Jagger, how do you like living in the human realm?
Jagger: *shrugs* It’s okay.
Khloe: He’s too demon. The strong minded and sensitive humans know he isn’t like them. So he doesn’t get out much.
Jagger: Unless I’m chasing Khan’s low-lives.
Me: Can you two share any future plans?
Jagger and Khloe: *speaks at the same time* Not without giving something away.
Me: You can’t blame me for trying. Thanks so much for the interview.
Khloe: *stands to follow me to the door* Anytime. It was fun. Drive safe. *she wrapped me into a hug bye*
Me: I will, thanks.

Blurb Blitz and Giveaway: Ghost and the Graveyard
The Ghost and the Graveyard
by Genevieve Jack
Left destitute by an unscrupulous ex-boyfriend, Grateful Knight takes her father up on his offer to live rent-free in a house he hasn’t been able to sell. Desperate to make a new start, Grateful tries to overlook the property’s less desirable features, like the graveyard that stretches to her back door. On the bright side, the unbelievably gorgeous cemetery caretaker, Rick, is dead set on helping her feel at home. She vows to take things slow, considering her recent disastrous relationship, but is baffled when she literally can’t keep her hands off of him.
When things in Grateful’s house start moving on their own, another man enters her life—a sexy ghost with a dark secret. Magical forces are at work in the tiny town of Red Grove and they’re converging on Grateful. Solving this ghostly mystery won’t be easy and with the caretaker becoming increasingly jealous of her spectral relationship, Grateful will be forced to choose between the ghost and the graveyard.
~~ Excerpt ~~
Logan frowned and folded his hands across the table, an all-too-human movement that made it hard to remember he wasn’t alive. “You can’t blame yourself for loving someone, Grateful. I may not know who I was in life, but I do remember that there are some things that just happen to you. That’s why they call it falling in love. You fall. It’s an uncontrollable act of gravity that has nothing to do with choice and everything to do with fate.”
“You’re pretty smart for someone without a brain.”
“Ha, ha. I have a brain. It’s just decomposing wherever my body happens to be.”
I giggled, but the thought made me gag a little. “But see, I caused him to steal my money. It was the blonde paradox.”
“What the hell is the blonde paradox?”
“I’m blonde, right? And sort of look like Barbie. Well, that attracts men because their caveman brain thinks I’m more fertile. But then they assume I’m stupid due to societal stereotypes about blondes and ironically become less intelligent in my presence. It’s like my looks are toxic to a healthy relationship.”
“Let me get this straight. You think that because of the way you look, men are drawn to you primarily for sex and then treat you like crap due to the same good looks.”
“It’s science.”
“I think it’s bullshit.”
“Really.”
The level of concentration necessary for whatever he was thinking about must have been steep, because he flickered at the edges.

Welcome to The Divinities’ world
The Divinities’s world just evolved from months of character developing and story building. This is my first series and FORGOTTEN VISIONS is my first ever completed novel. Almost two years in the making, because that was before I knew what the hell I was doing. LOL
I love reading series. I love the interaction with past characters and the continuing back story that grows and chances with each book. That’s what I wanted to write. I also love all things paranormal as well as the HEA (happily ever after) romance story. I’m a very intuitive person and I love a story that has a mystery feel, one that keeps you guessing and wanting more. Oh, and cliffhangers. Considered yourselves warned. ;)
The Divinities are gifted witches with supernatural magical powers. They can teleport, but chose to limit that part of their magic to keep from drawing too much attention. Humans know witches exist and many still hold prejudice against them. Each Divinity has a different gift that is specific to them and a ruling element. And there are a few Divinities that have a shapeshifter abilities.
But the series isn’t just about witches. There is an ancient war brewing again that threatens the peaceful lives or humans and magickin. The demons are building an army and seek the power source of the worlds. But not all demons the Divinities come into contact with are bad. And a few they meet boarder on the line of good and evil.
As for the heat level, they are HOT and will continue to heat up.
So who’s next?
Book 3, The Dark Divine, is Zach and Lydia’s story
Book 4, A Seer’s Touch (name may change), is Melaina’s story and will be my first menage (f/m/m)
Book 5, Divine Awakening, is Desiree and Lex’s story
If you don’t know who they are, you can meet them in the first two books. Click on the covers below to go to the book page to fine out more about them.

~~ Excerpt ~~
Stepping off the curb to head to the car, Khloe stilled and let the warm air caress her skin. An electrical charge that only the select few magickin—like her and the other Divinities—could detect was palpable in the humid summer air.
Her spine tingled as the supernatural energy drifted on the wind, putting her on full alert. Reaching out with her senses, she relaxed. A little. The energy was familiar in an odd kind of way. Her admirer was nearby.
More like a stalker, really, without the creepy love letters and phone calls.
For the last month, someone had watched her and followed her every move. When the entity was near, a warm shiver rolled over her skin like a caress. The energy didn’t come from a human. Demon? Maybe. But, the power was too intense to be any demonic creature she’d come in contact with. She considered one of the gods, but that didn’t make sense either. The gods wouldn’t stalk her. They would send a messenger or deliver their message in person. She and the others had also thought it could be a guardian.
Whatever the entity was, it annoyed the hell out of her to be followed around and spied upon.
She scanned to mall parking lot and the sidewalk that lead to the various shops. Nothing remotely threatening came into view or reached out to her supernatural senses. Then again, she never saw anything when she sensed the presence. It had shown up last month, right after she and Kalissa had been thrust into an ancient war between witches and demons.
That was when she and Kalissa found a note from their mother telling them about the Sinew—a crystal sphere that held the magic of the worlds—and sent Kalissa on a mission to retrieve it. As Divinities, it was their duty to protect magickin from Khan, the new Bastard Lord of the Underworld.

Autumn Harvest Blog Hop: Visit the Bradenton Cabin
Khloe handed her twin a cup of hot chocolate, with extra marshmallows, sat on the porch swing next to Kalissa, and cradled her cup of steamy chocolate heaven.
“I love this time of year,” she said, breathing in the crisp fall air.
“Yes, it’s beautiful.” Kalissa took a sip of cocoa and sighed. “It’s nice to get away for a few days.”
Khloe nodded. “But you know the demons won’t let us rest for long. They must like having their asses handed to them over and over.”
Kalissa snorted, “Almost as much as you like handing it to them.”
“Yep.”
They both laughed, then stilled as the pressure in the air changed. Seconds later, Ayden and Jagger materialized in front of them. Khloe’s body heated as her demon prowled toward her with that hungry gaze of his. She felt Kalissa’s reaction to Ayden, but pushed it away by throwing up the mental wall that blocked the psychic connection to her twin.
Jagger stopping and leaned down to press his lips to hers. “Mmm, chocolate.”
Khloe pushed at his chest playfully. “Get your own, demon.”
A mischievous grin lifted one side of his sensual lips. “I plan to.”
Oh, nice. Khloe was so liking the sound of that. “I’ll meet you in our bedroom.”
“I’ll get the chocolate.”

~~Excerpt 5~~
The Amiddian, held off the ground in the death grip of her stalker, kicked his legs wildly and screamed as the larger male spoke in tones too low for her to make out the words. She caught a glimpse of huge sharp fangs before he latched onto his victim’s neck.
After a few moments, Mr. Tall Dark and Scary tossed the lifeless body away like last week’s trash and turned toward her. She swallowed hard.
His attention snapped to the left. Khloe followed his gaze to another demon running toward her. Her stalker flashed to stand in front of the other demon, and she fled in the opposite direction.
She was so not hanging around to see what he did to that one. Cutting to her right, she ran into the woods, away from her stalker and would-be captors.
Several feet inside the undeveloped property, another demon materialized in front of her. She dug her heels into the ground to keep from plowing into him. White-blond hair framed his too-thin demonic face. Most demons looked human, allowing them to blend into the natural world. This one didn’t blend very well. At least not to her. For one, his crimson-colored eyes were anything but human. Secondly, his dark magic rolled off him in powerful, choking waves.
Heart hammering in her ears, she darted to the side, but he was too fast for her. His large, rough hands wrapped around her upper arm and his sharp claws dug into her skin, making her cry out. As quickly as he’d grabbed her, an iron bracelet snapped around her wrist. The cuff he slapped on her right arm instantly muted her magic. She felt the flow of energy slow and back away from the iron. She tried to force is out, create a spark, but it didn’t work. Even her elemental magic reseeded. Damn. She was powerless against him.
Panic gripped her, and she struggled against the large demon. Survival instincts kicked in, and she brought her foot up and thrust it out, right into his groin. With a painful groan, he crumbled to the ground.
It was a good thing male demons had the same weakness as human men. Take out the jewels and women could rule the world.
The warm tingle across her skin said her stalker was closing in on her, and she bolted deeper into the woods.

Finding Love When You’re Not Looking by Jessica Subject
Thank you so much, Lia, for hosting me on your blog for the Sudden Breakaway blog tour!!
Today I want to tell you how I met my husband. See, the thing is, I’d met him several times before we actually went out on our first date. We weren’t friends or anything, and didn’t hang out. We had mutual friends though, and our meetings always happened by chance.
I don’t often admit this, but in the time between when I finished high school and went off to university, my friends kept trying to set me up with all kinds of guys. Most of my friends were dating someone seriously, engaged, or married. So, if you’ve even been in this situation, they believe you need to be set up with someone, too. I went along with it. Might as well meet some new people before going out to university, and have some fun.
I never went out on a “blind date” though. Every guy I met was with a group of people, so there were no awkward moments or lack of conversation. But nothing ever panned out. We were just too different.
One night, when I was supposed to meet another guy, he failed to show up. But another friend of the people I was with happened to arrive. He was flirty and nice, but nothing happened after we left. Well, I went to a party with the same friends, and he happened to be there again. We spent more time together this time, but at the end of the night, we went our separate ways with no promise of anything else.
It was the summer before I went off to University by this point and I had stopped looking for any serious relationship. Well, this guy happened to come into where I was working two weeks after I’d last seen him. He waved, and I guess I waved and flushed. Not much was said, but he phoned me that nigh and by the end of our conversation, we had set up a date for the following week. Just the two of us.
Well, I went off to university, and he completed his apprenticeship, but we’ve been together ever since that first date. I always think it’s funny because it was when I’d stopped looking, and my friends had stopped setting me up that I found my soul mate.
Madame Eve of 1Night Stand fame sets people up all the time. The participants go into the night with the expectation of having one evening of pleasure. They are not looking for a serious relationship, but thanks to Madame Eve’s magical abilities, they often find love.
Such was the case with Paige and Jared in Sudden Breakaway. They both believed they didn’t have time to commit to a serious relationship, but when they were set up with each other, they both hoped for something more.
So, tell me… Have you ever been set up on a date by a friend or family member? And what was the result?

~~Excerpt ~~
Jared shucked his towel and stroked his rigid cock. That woman made him hard every time she came to the door, trying to persuade him to sign up for the Space Service. Her claims had seemed far-fetched when she’d first approached him, yet his commander had confirmed her credentials, having been approached to join by another many years ago. While Jared would never add his thumbprint to the contract he’d read, he wouldn’t mind if she stopped by to try and convince him again.
Ms. Brown, with her black blazer revealing a hint of cleavage and a skirt that showed the perfect curvature of her ass. When he’d answered the door fresh out of the shower and seen her on his porch, he’d gripped the door handle to hold himself back from yanking her inside and tearing off her fine-pressed suit.
He squeezed his balls; no time to jack-off. Dylan and Madison would arrive in an hour, and he had to take one last run through his house to get rid of any lingering dust bunnies before Children’s Services appeared. No obvious dirt in the living room, he headed toward the kitchen, but his mind kept flying back to Ms. Brown.
She had the whole librarian thing going on, with her dark hair tied up in a bun and glasses resting on the end of her nose. Though, none of the women who worked at the local branch made his cock throb. Perhaps there was some truth to the naughty librarian tale. He wished.
Most women’s version of naughty did not come close to his. While the whole BDSM club scene didn’t appeal to him, he enjoyed a little bondage during foreplay. He’d spent months at a time deployed in the Middle East. While home, he appreciated the opportunity to date the pretty women who found a guy in uniform sexy. But once he fetched the cuffs, they bolted. They hadn’t even wanted to use them on him.
Ms. Brown was no girl, though. No more than a couple years his senior, she exuded experience with her seductive glances, her posture that plunged her cleavage into his line of sight, and that damn wiggle of her ass as she sashayed back to her car. She could teach him a thing or two. He yearned for the chance to find out.
No, his next lay could no longer be at the forefront of his mind. In less than an hour, he would become the father-figure to two impressionable young children. His sexual urges would have to take leave for the foreseeable future.
He’d been in his last month of deployment to Afghanistan when the call came in. And it took another day for his commander to reach him with the news. His brother-in-law had been killed in a car accident, leaving his niece and nephew orphans. And as much as he loved the Marine Corps—Semper Fi—he couldn’t let the kids be raised by strangers. They had no other family left.
So, after he returned to the States, he contacted his lawyer and spent a couple of weeks obtaining guardianship of the children. He’d received his discharge papers, found a civilian position working as a desk jockey for the CIA through his contacts with the Marines, and bought a house suitable to raise two growing youngsters. After months of preparation, they were coming to live with him.
He glanced at his watch. Ten minutes until they arrived.
Shit! He’d wasted precious time thinking about Ms. Brown and his new life.
Grabbing a pair of jeans and a T-shirt, he yanked them on. Screw the boxers; his niece and nephew wouldn’t notice. He peeked into their rooms to ensure they looked somewhat presentable. Would Children’s Services take them back to California if his new living space didn’t meet their standards?
He groaned. They weren’t even at his house yet, and he’d been distracted. No more. Nothing would come before them. The children would be his priority. Everything he did would be for them, for the rest of his life.

~~Excerpt 4~~
A quick glance at the advancing vehicle caused her heart to slam against her ribcage. The van’s side door slid open, and a demon jumped out, tucked his head, and rolled across the pavement into the grass. He jumped up and ran straight for her.
Shit!
She pushed her legs as fast as they could go. The racing engine of the van grew louder. She flashed a couple of miles up the road. Without a set destination, she couldn’t teleport far. Where would she go anyway?
Outrunning that damn van wasn’t happening. She might be a powerful witch, but she didn’t know where she could go or how many demons were packed inside that van. Judging by the strength and power rolling off the ones chasing her, they were Amiddians, the middle class citizens of the Underworld.
She whirled and thrust an energy ball at the demon, knocking him backward a few feet. Quickly, she threw a softball size fireball at him. It hit him square in the chest. The flames covered his body and, within seconds, he disappeared into a pile of ash.
Squealing tires followed by the crunching and scraping of metal on pavement behind her sparked her curiosity. Her nose tingled at the smell of hot breaks and burnt rubber. When she turned to look at the wreckage, she gasped. The van lay on its side in the middle of the street. A much stronger and larger male, with hair black as night and long enough to allow fingers to comb through it, stood at the front of the vehicle, his massive chest rose and fell under his black T-shirt as he took deep, calculated breaths.
After punching through the glass, he reached inside the windshield and pulled out the driver. A force of power rolled off the newcomer unlike anything she’d ever felt before. He didn’t radiate demon magic like the others. Although his aura was dark, his power was almost godly and familiar.
Her stalker.
His power reached out to her like physical touch of a lover, sending tingles over her skin. His sculptured body moved in a sensual, yet deadly manner. Her hands itched to touch him, to feel his warm skin under her palms. She closed her eyes to stop the urge to go to him, shivered, and cursed her body for responding to him. Usually demons threw off eerie fridge energy. But, this one, he warmed her in a way that no other man had ever done.
Okay, Lo. You have officially lost your mind.

Thanks for coming by! Stop back by on Friday for # 5 and the last one.
