Snippet Sunday bringing you a snippet from my upcoming Awaken The Elements (Dark Erotic Fantasy)

Over in the small third world countries, where poor people drink murky water and bellies grumble every day, a couple of  men dressed as doctors entered into small hospitals. They ignored the weeping pleading mothers begging for them to help their sick children. They all entered into small storage rooms, where meager hospital supplies waited to be used.

In a diminutive town in Chile, three fake doctors looked at each other as the crowded into a half empty medical storage closet.

“Do you have the time?” One asked the other.

Their eyes looked glazed over as if tweaking on some good drug. It could have been said that the look in their eyes was insanity, but only they knew the secret. The secret of a woman with floor length midnight black hair that veiled around her luminescent skin, and what she had done to them. What she had promised. A seductive dream they would kill for, exactly what they were doing.

The taller man looked at his watch, and saw it was two minutes until noon, Pacific Time. “We're on time,” he said in a dreamy voice. The promise of touching the woman again drifted through his mind. Although in hers, she knew she would never see any of the slaves she sent out. Her magic of corruption would soon spread like a wildfire.

One of the men opened a small box and took out a small liquid bottle. Each grabbed a syringe filling it with the liquid from the black bottle, and inserting the liquid into medicine and IV bags. They were to wait and witness if anything worked, and walked quickly out of the hospital. Only a nurse saw the woman’s slaves in Iraq, but she thought nothing of it.

Moorgun sat before her alter; a thin loose gown covered her. Her knees ached as she sat there watching the dark glass, waiting for the sight to start. Her old skin hang from her brittle bones, the years seemed to be catching up with her but she waited because soon He would be with her, and He would grant her eternal beauty. Again she would be able to see herself as she had been beautiful and young.

The dark glass smoked over and the visions started. She watched the sick man shake, the nurses ran over and doctors were called. After the shakes, his blood would slow down to a tinkle, and his organs would fail, but his brain would live. Every liquid in his body will carry the infection, and just a small bite to another human would cause the corruption to spread until it overran the world. And the search for her chosen would finally be at an end.  She watched as the sick started to rise with a huger they had never felt before.

Animalistic. They only thought of flesh.

“Feed, my pets,” she snickered.

Book Review of Etiquette & Espionage

For those who don't know I love Gail Carriger and her Parasol Protectorate. I was already touching into steampunk and she fueled the fire for me.

Loves that this is a prequel setting to the The Parasol Protectorate. I had some questions about certain people and now they are being brought to the light. Sophronia is now one of my newer favorite characters and I can't wait to see what she gets into at finishing school. I was surprised about her friends two we know too much about for those fans of the Parasol Protectorate. I cannot wait until November when the second book is released!

Can you believe the tour’s almost over? Today I’m just going to share a random babbling post (I warned you these would happen). 

Men and sex. Sex and men. The two are almost always connected. It’s been proven time and time again that men are almost always thinking about sex in some way. Most places agree (notice, not necessarily me) that men will do pretty much anything for sex and are very creative when it comes to sex.

Sex for men with one partner can easily even become boring. It always makes me wonder if, as humans, we’re all truly meant to be with one person. Can we all be 100% satisfied and completely happy that way?We can take steps to do our best to keep our partner in awe. Yes, you have to be willing to go that extra mile and perhaps do a few things that may not be on the top of your to do list. But imagine how happy it will make your partner. So, in no order, here are some of the top ranked things men want to do:
--Oral Sex: What man doesn’t like to have his cock sucked on? This is perhaps one of the easiest ways to keep your man happy. Don’t like to do it? Try some flavored lotions. They might get you past the initial thought of it. Even better, if you’re doing oral sex for him – you can ask for a returned favor.
--Sex with 2 women: I don’t think I’ve ever met a man who didn’t want two women at the same time. While this is likely not high on your to do list, it can be done in what I call a smaller dose. --Location Sex: In with different positions are also different locations. Men love challenges and even the concept of potentially getting caught. Who says sex can only be in the bedroom? Try the bathroom, the shower, the kitchen, the couch, the garage, outside. Keeping him on his toes, will keep him very happy.
--Games: This can be the fun board games for adults where you roll several dice to see what you’ll do to your partner. This can also be strip poker where you strip yourself or where you strip each other. Finally, another aspect of game play that men seem to enjoy – role play and even some dress up. Who says you can’t be a French maid or pirate lass?
--Beach Sex: This is perfect for taking in the rays of the sun. This is also great for a star filled night or a night when the moon is at a preferred set in the sky.
--Anal Sex: Come on now, we all knew this one had to be here. Men love the idea of anal sex. Why? Who can be sure? It’s generally tighter and a different feel than vaginal insertion. So, grab the lube and shock your partner. The best fun for him? He didn’t have to ask for it.

Sunday Snippet

Today I am going away from Blood Witch. *Gasp* I am bringing you a snippet of my zombie WIP I have sort of called- Island of the Zombie King. This has been the hardest book to name.


They got to the maintenance room, which led right into the trash compacter room. “Hey I’m parked here,” Joseph said.
“Your car can only hold four of us, pushing five. Not six,” Carlos said.
Kiley nodded. “Like the boss says,” she said, “We will make it fit.”
“Guys we have a problem,” Tony said looking down at the floor.
They all looked at the trail of blood leading out of the room into the room holding the compacter. “The room ain’t that big,” Carlos said.
“We can’t go back,” Donner said.
“We have to do it. The place is going to explode any second,” Kiley said. She had her metal stick in one hand and the other on the door. “Back me up guys.” She turned the knob and pushed open the door.
She looked into the dark room. She held her breath reaching inside with her free hand feeling for the light switch, finding it she flipped it on. The room already smelt of garbage, but there was another smell in there. The smell of death. Her eyes darted around seeing nothing then looked down at the blood trail on the floor. She followed after it slowly, one foot at a time. The guys had their guns pointed all around.
The trail ended in the back of the room. What she saw made her almost drop the metal stick, as her stomach heaved. Dark blood and gore ran down the walls with a large puddle on the ground. In the middle of the puddle lay the torn torso of one of the new janitors. His head had been half ripped from his body, and lay on its side looking up at her, its mouth wide open in a silent scream.
She turned disappearing behind what they called the grease pit, the metal compartment they and the other stores dumped their grease in, and threw up. Donner didn’t follow, but stayed by the side of the grease pit. “We have to go,” he said voice gentle. He didn’t dare look at the mess at the back of the room.
She wiped her mouth with the back of her hand. “Okay,” she said. “I’m okay.” She came around to meet him.
Carlos was standing by the door, far away from whatever was back there. He didn’t want to even know what it could be, and just wanted to get the hell out of there. He didn’t notice the blood soaked hands until they grabbed his chubby neck. He let out a deafening scream, and it echoed through the metal walled room. The corpse had him good, he struggled, but its hold on him wouldn’t budge from his position. He had no real fighting ground. He screamed again as he felt the human teeth sink into the flesh of his shoulder, and then numbness.
The others were trying to get him away from the zombie. No one dared to shoot because he was too close. Kiley remembered her metal stick. She pushed herself in close, knowing how dangerous it was. She swung the stick hard hitting the zombie in the head. It turned its head looking at her. Shane yelled for her to watch out, just as she jammed the stick into the zombie’s eye. She shoved as hard as she could. The zombie fell backward with the pressure. She stepped on its chest and using both hands she moved the stick around as if stirring it. The zombie lay still unmoving.
She left the stick where it was in the zombie’s head and went over to check on Carlos. “He’s hurt pretty bad,” Joseph said. Just then the gas caught, and the room earth-quaked around them.

4 Days in...

[image error] Blood Witch has been out for 4 days now and I am very surprised by how well it is selling. It really shows me that I really I have to get on #2. I just hope that my next book out Awaken the Elements book 1 in my Element Trilogy, which is a dark erotic fantasy, does just as well. This also makes me want to jump out of the small writing slump I have been in and finish up my current WIP which is another dark erotic fantasy, I have called at the moment Island of the Zombie King. I am almost to the end I can see it finally. I also need to finish editing Playing with Magic, book #2 in the Element Trilogy. I should by this Summer get into Opposite Side #2 Blood Father.
