Another Successful Book Signing @ Hastings
BOOK SIGNING FOLLOW-UP THE SIGN OF THE EAGLE. I experienced another sell-out at my book event @ Hastings Books, Music & Videos in Boise, Idaho, this last Saturday, Oct. 26. Met a lot of nice people, gave out lots of flyers and book markers and received many compliments on the portrait of Macha painted by my niece Katrina Hughes Brennan.
I was flattered and yet, humbled, when the Assistant Store Manager, Mike, and Book Manager, Steve, both told me I was the best author the store had ever seen. Not just because of my sales but also the fact I greeted everyone that entered the store and interacted so well with the people. They weren't use to seeing anything like. "The last guy that was here," Steve said, "sat at the table with his books and looked down at the table the whole time. He didn't sell a copy and wondered why. That's the kind of writers we usually get here. You can return anytime you want for a signing." Thank you Mike and Steve for your kind remarks.
My next book signing will be @ Barnes & Noble, Woodinville, Washington (Seattle area), Saturday, Nov. 2nd. Details to follow.

Another Successful Book Signing Double-Header (Barnes & Noble and Hastings)
BOOK SIGNING FOLLOW-UP. I know I must sound like a broken record, but I completed two more successful book signings, for my novel, THE SIGN OF THE EAGLE. This time @ Hastings Books, Music & Videos, Wenatchee, Washington, 101813, and Barnes & Noble Booksellers, Olympia, WA 101913. In both instances, they were sell-outs. Met lots of interesting people, handed out flyers and received more compliments about the portrait of the book cover on display, painted by my niece Katrina Hughes Brennan.
I want to thank Hastings Book Manager, Martha Lynn, and B&N Weekend Manager, Kim, for their assistance in making both events a success. Next Saturday, I will sign at Hastings in Boise, Idaho, the state capital. Details later.
And yes, another two novels are in the works. If accepted by my publisher, Sunbury Press, I'm looking @ Fall 2014. This is all tentative.

Book Signing Success, B&N, Kennewick, WA
BOOK SIGNING FOLLOW-UP. I hope you are not getting tired or bored with my messages. I did conduct another successful book signing, selling all copies in stock of THE SIGN OF THE EAGLE @ Barnes & Noble, Kennewick, Washington, yesterday, 101213. Met lots of interesting people, received many compliments for the portrait of Macha, painted by my niece , Artist Katrina Hughes Brennan and gave out lots of book markers and flyers. Community Relations Manager, Wendy, said, "I had heard you were good, this only confirms it. You can return anytime you want (for another signing)." Thank you Wendy. I want to thank her and associates Emily and Jamiee for assisting me in making this another successful signing. Next weekend, Friday & Saturday, I will sign @ Hastings, Musci & Vidoes, Wenatchee, WA, Friday, Oct. 18th & Barnes & Noble, Olympia, WA, Saturday, Oct. 19th. More details later.

Another Successful Book Signing @ Barnes & Noble
BOOK SIGNING FOLLOW-UP. Another sell out @ B&N. Yesterday, Oct. 5th, I signed copies of my historical novel, THE SIGN OF THE EAGLE @ Barnes & Noble, Spokane Valley, Washington. It was a beautiful sunny day, but the store traffic was heavy, met lots of friendly people and sold all the store copies of my novel. T
The assistant manager, Steve, complimented on how good I was at selling books. He said most authors who come to their store sell very few copies or none at. "They sit like rocks and we have to coach them. Now, you have a track record with us and we want to return for another signing." Thank you, Steve.
I thank Steve and all the associates at Barnes & Noble for helping making the event so successful.
No pictures of new followers this time, the one's taken turned out too fuzzy.
Next Saturday, Oct. 12th, I will be signing @ Barnes & Noble, Kennewick, Washington.
