Book Signing Follow-up

Book signing success @ Barnes & Noble Booksellers, Spokane Valley, Washington, Saturday and Sunday August 10th &11th. I returned to B&N on Sunday for an encore signing, which like Saturday was a success. Met people from all over the Pacific Northwest and couple from Texas and Alabama. I sold many books, including The Sign of the Eagle, which sold out. I want to thank store manager, Leslie, assistant managers, Elizabeth and Meera, and all the associates who contributed to this successful event.

Next signing: Yoke's Fresh Market, Liberty Lake, Washington, Sept. 13th

Book Signing Follow-Up

Book signing follow-up @ Barnes & Noble Booksellers, June 1st (Blossom Hill - San Jose, CA) and June 2nd (Gilroy, CA). Overall, this was a very successful set of signings for my historical novel series, the Britannia Romanus series. I met lots of interesting people, handed out lots of flyers and signed many copies of my five novels. Included the among the new readers was, FB friend, Shelby Hetrick. She is one of my granddaughter, Veronica Hughes, best friends. Last week she graduated from San Jose State University's School of Engineering. This bright young woman is taking a near month long vacation to the U.K. so she had to get one of my novels to read on the flight overseas. I wish her all best for a bright future. Other photos are new readers, Cindy, Tiffany and Paul, a bonafide Romanfile.
I want to thank Blossom Hill and Gilroy store managers, John and Chelsea, event managers, Ally and Scott, and all the associates who help to make these successful events.

I Recommend This Book
Yes
I wont go into detail about the story as i don't want to spoil the book, but i will say that I wouldn't normally read this kind of book but I fancied a change of genre and i can honestly say this surprised me. I enjoyed the story and i felt connected with the characters. Pleasantly surprised and brilliantly written, a must read for sure.

Blog Update Interview with Author Meghan Holloway

Check my latest blog update in which I interview Author Meghan Holloway about her latest historical novel, ONCE MORE UNTO THE BREACH, a story set to the background of World War II, a tale of war and loss and one of family and hope. A very insightful interview. http://www.jessstevenhughes.com/blog....
