Author Presence: Changes are Coming

I’m excited to announce that I will be making some significant changes to this site soon. I have decided to rearrange a few things and to switch up the layout a bit. My goal is to create something that can provide a controlled introduction to who I am as an author, something that the standard blog layout doesn’t do very well. Author presence is a big part of the branding process, and it’s one I don’t think I’ve handled very well so far.

Author branding is a very important tool to help readers identify not only you, but also your writing. With so many viable options for reading material, it’s becoming more and more vital to connect and create lasting relationships with readers. A big part of that struggle is presenting your own personal brand so a reader comes to know and instantly recognize your offerings. Trigger Warnings and Reconsiderations

Was it really that long ago? You may remember from my last post that I’m generally not a huge Neil Gaiman fan. First, let’s talk about Neil himself. That’s a bit of a play on words, you see; because Neil’s twitter handle is literally @neilhimself. I know this because I follow him, and while I haven’t been gracing Twitter with my presence much lately, I do tend to check in from time to time.
