Pictures!
Hi Everyone,
Well, I did it. I finally took the plunge and bought a camera--see
(And also some nutella...)
I know I'm going to need to take a real class and stuff, but in the meantime it's been a lot of fun taking pictures of random things around my house.
Like some of the foreign editions of my books from around the world.
And some of the reference/resource books I've used.
Oh, and even this little super duper early sneak peek at GG5.
Enjoy!

Blog in bullets
* Huge thanks to everyone who wrote this week to wish my parents a happy anniversary. In fact, my mom asked me to share the following with all of you:
Please tell your readers THANKS for the notes on
our forty-seventh anniversary. We have really enjoyed them, the
notes and the years
* I'm still working on GG5. For now. That sucker's got to go to copyediting September 1st though so...work. Work. Work.
* Thanks for all the awesome feedback on my newfound search of "hobbies." I've spent ...

Happy Anniversary, Mom and Daddy
Big day today because today is the FORTY-SEVENTH anniversary of the day my parents got married. Ever want to know how I learned to write and read and, most of all, work and laugh? Well, they taught me. And they're amazing.
So if you guys can do me a favor and wish them a happy anniversary in the comments, that would be great and I know they'd enjoy reading them.
Thanks!

Hobbies
Happy Sunday, everyone!
Taking a break from the book for a while, and thinking I need to blog--like a REAL blog and not a mini blog. But I didn't really know what to blog about. After all, I am incredibly boring.
Seriously. When I think about what the reality show of my life would be like it makes me laugh and laugh and laugh because while I am crazy (a reality show prerequisite) all of my crazy is INTERNAL crazy. So that show would be boring to watch, let me tell you.
My boringness is...

My weekend
Hello blog readers!
It's a big time of year, what with all the return-to-schooling and going-off-to-collegeing and, of course, the enjoying-the-last-days-of-summering. This year, sadly, I'm doing none of the above. What am I doing?
I'm busy with the finish-GG5-ing.
The book MUST go into copyediting (when the workload shifts from 80/20 me/publisher to more like 20/80) on September first. I can not miss that date. I can't. I can't. I really, really can't.
So that means I'm spending all of my ...

Hi everyone!
Today it is my pleasure to finally bring you the final cover for Gallagher Girls 5, Out of Sight, Out of Time.
I owe a HUGE debt of gratitude to everyone at Disney-Hyperion for the many, many months of tireless work they put in to getting this cover just right.
I hope all of you like it as much as I do.

Vote for Hale (round 3)
Thanks to the awesome support of all of YOU everyone's favorite billionaire art thief, W. W. Hale V, has made it into the third round of the YA Crush Tourney.
Well, today Hale is taking on Zachary Moore from Jeri Smith-Ready's Shade and Shift books.
Look at how pretty this cover is!
Now, I have no doubt that Zachary is a swell guy, but if all of you want Hale to advance you need to go vote.
And if Hale advances I will do something special--like a deleted scene or snippet from a book or...
