UK tour photos, part 2
It wasn't all work when I was in the UK recently. Thankfully, I did have a day off about mid-tour and was able to do a little sightseeing.
Because I was so tired and wanted to see London while exerting as little energy as possible, I decided to take one of those cheesy double-decker bus tours, which, as it turns out, is a pretty good way to get a general overview of a new place.
And I learned some things I probably never would have known if there hadn't been a tour guide with a microphone...

UK Tour Pics, round 1
Hi everybody!
As promised, I'm finally getting around to posting a few pictures from my UK tour. Let's hope this works. As frequent blog readers know, this blog seems to hate photos and images, so if you can't see the pictures, just click on the links and that should take you to another page where you can see them.
I hope.
Enjoy!
I had an amazing time in the UK and Ireland. A lot of people have asked how it was different from a US tour, and that's a great question. Probably, to be honest...

Big Blog of Random
Hi, everyone!
I know I owe y'all a big UK tour blog, and I'll do it soon. I promise. But not tonight. I just don't have the strength to deal with pictures and the internet and this blog tonight.
Why am I so tired? Because I started a new secret project today! No, it's not a new book and/or series. But it is something I think you guys will enjoy just as soon as it's ready. A little "thanks for being awesome" gift, if you will.
Speaking of awesome: Vampire. Diaries.
Also: Oklahoma State...

Blogging!
Hi, everyone! I'm home. And I'm BLOGGING!
Okay, I know what you're thinking: technically, I've been home about a week, but believe me, it takes at least that long to recover from tour. It's not just the traveling. And the signing. And the small-talk-making. And the question answering. It's more like the combination of all of the above that always knocks me for a loop.
That and I almost always get at least a little bit sick, and this tour was no exception. Sure, it was never full-on "I s...

Mini blog: the road home
Greetings from london's Heathrow Airport where I'm awaiting my flight home.
The UK tour has been amazing. So many great readers. So many cool bookshops. So much pretty countryside. But as glad as I was to come here and do this I'm equally glad to be going home to sleep in my own bed, do some laundry, and, of course, get to work on HEIST SOCIETY 3!
I took tons of pictures, and someday very soon I hope to blog and tell you all about it.
In the meantime, be good.

Hello from England!
Greetings from the London City Airport where I'm about to board a flight for Dublin. Whoo hoo. Go Ireland!
I've been having such an amazing time in the UK. Everyone at Orchard Book has been SO kind--especially Victoria, my publicist, who has the not so fun task of accompanying me everywhere I go. It is so nice having someone on tour with me--especially someone as sweet and funny and interesting as Victoria, who is great at getting cab drivers to understand where we want to go a...

Uncommon Criminals deleted scene!
Hi Everyone,
As promised long ago, here is a deleted scene from UNCOMMON CRIMINALS.
As usual, I'll remind you that this is unedited and unproofed. It was deleted for a reason. And, of course, it is a DELETED scene, not a scene that I wrote after the fact for anyone's amusement.
If and when I decide to post another scene, I will. In the meantime, I hope this brightens your Labor Day (in the States) and makes going back to school a little more fun for a lot of you.

Mini blog: Finished!
Hi everyone!
Just a quick note to let everyone know that GG5, OUT OF SIGHT, OUT OF TIME went to copyediting yesterday afternoon!
What does that mean exactly?
Well, it means the book IS NOT finished, but I will never again work on it on the computer. Right now, my editor and a copyeditor are going over the manuscript, looking for typos, continuity errors (someone having blue eyes on page 5 and green eyes on page 35), and other misc. mistakes that always seem to make it into a book.
In a few...
