Cover Reveal: Concilium

The wonderfully talented Lex Valentine has just finished the cover for my debut novel Concilium and it is wonderful!

Concilium_500

What do you think?  Didn’t she do a great job?  When you read the novel you’ll see how significant the forest is and how the cover ties into that.  It really is a perfect cover for the storyline.

Happy Reading,

What do you listen to?

Soundtrack of My Life

A few months ago, a friend posted this fun exercise on her blog. I liked it so much I stole it (Thank you, Mary!). I had so much fun, and found how many different artists people listen to, that I wanted to share it here and see what you have on your playlists.

Here's what you need to do. Put your MP3 player (or Media Player) on Shuffle. Then, as the songs play write in the song and artist that corresponds with the following list. Finally, post your list in the commen...

Six Sentence Sunday

It’s Sunday and that means it’s time for another six sentences.  I’m sticking with my debut novel, Concilium. It releases July 1st.

Set-up: The main character Les (Leslee) is working late alone at the office.  She has an uneasy feeling…in future installments we’ll learn that she should pay attention to her gut instincts…

The security lights were the only light in the dark hallway, giving it an eerie yellow glow that made my heart beat faster and adrenaline flood my body. I picked...

Its time for another Six Sentence Sunday. I’m continuing to share snippets of my debut novel Concilium, releasing July 1st.

Set-up: There really isn't much set-up for this scene. It happens directly after last week's scene.  The only interesting fact that you should know is that the man (Miller/Gardienne) is able to read Leslee's (the narrator) mind. He can't read anyone else's and she can't read his.  This explains his comment in the l...

Author Interview: Michael Meyer

I’m thrilled to have Michael Meyer here today to share with us about hi [image error] s newest release Deadly Eyes

Welcome, Michael! Tell us, what inspired you to write about the theme for Deadly Eyes?

I lived on the small Caribbean island of St. Croix, where the book is set, for four years, where I was an English professor at the University of the Virgin...

He leaned his face to mine and kissed me. “Uh, Gardienne, no kissing until you brush.”

Laughing he rolled out of bed and strolled into the bathroom turning the shower turn on. I got dressed and grabbed my toothbrush before trotting down the stairs to the downstairs bathroom. I didn’t want to stay in th...
