As I've mentioned, many times over the
past three months or so, my dad has been ill.  He's spent twenty-nine days
in the hospital of the last sixty.  I had to take him back to the hospital
last night.  The doctors are now afraid he's had a stroke. He just can't
catch a break.




During my dad's
twenty-nine day hospital stay, I've spent a lot of time in waiting rooms,

A Funny Thing Happened Today...

Some of you know my dad has been very ill.
 He's been in and out of the hospital (more in than out) the last two
months.  We finally got a diagnosis to his "mysterious" illness.
 Just when the doctors figure it out - they go and screw up his medication
and send him into Addison's Crisis.  He's been in ICU for the last eight
days.

Six Sentence Sunday

Writing Buddies

Well, school is out for the summer and my kids are already roaming the house complaining they’re bored.  Bored?! We live on 2.9 acres…go outside! Enjoy the Texas summer before it’s so hot you can’t go outside without suffering from heat exhaustion just walking to the car.
