Welcome Lila Munro
Today I am spotlighting Lila Munro's newest book, Assumed Identity.
Innocent childhood games of dress-up and pretend…
Julie Stevens is as straight as they come. Or so she tries to convince herself. But it isn't easy believing that little white lie when she has the two most sexually eccentric best friends on the planet. One is a bi-sexual Domme who believes if it looks fun, try it. The other is a gay man in the role of slave to his very sexy Master whom Julie often wishes wasn't gay. Dante's commanding presence makes her want to do things that set her on fire with need and embarrassment. Given her boring vanilla life, how exactly does she fit into their world? Would they like to have a shinier third wheel?
Are a completely different animal for grownups…
After one wild evening and a bit too much liquid encouragement, Julie discovers a side of herself she's always tried to ignore. The realization she's a sub not only scares her, it excites her and she yearns for more. But the process of finding the right man to teach her becomes a real issue, until Mason comes along. He's everything Julie imagines a Dom should be. Armed with her masque and Renaissance costume, Julie is thrown for a loop when the handsome Master draws more willingness out of her than she ever thought possible. Is it possible she's more than a submissive? And will the assumptions he's made about her identity end up tearing them apart?

Welcome Lara Valentine
Today I have Lara Valentine on the blog chatting about what she snacks on while she eats and her latest release. Sit back and enjoy. Then be sure to check out her newest release.http://www.bookstrand.com/plenty-to-come
Tell us a little about yourself. Thank you for having me as your guest today! I was brought up in the Midwest but several years ago I moved to Florida to get away from snow and ice. I have a super supportive husband and young son who think it is really cool that I write. My goal is for writing to become my day job. Until then, I spend my days in software development.
2. What genre do you write?
Erotic romance with a happily ever after. My stories tend to have dominant/submissive overtones.
Please tell us about your latest release Plenty To Come and how you came up with the idea/ Intense and dominating Zach Harper and his brother, charming and playful Chase are tired of casual relationships and one night stands. They're looking for a woman they can share their life with, together. When they meet Cassie, they immediately feel that this woman just might be the one. Cassie is just as drawn to them, feeling safe and loved in their strong arms. But not everyone is happy about Cassie's new-found happiness. Can Zach and Chase keep Cassie safe when her past shows up and wants her dead?
Plenty To Come is the first in a series about a fictional town in Central Florida. I come from a small town in Illinois and loved growing up there. It seemed natural to create a town based on what I remember from my childhood. The only difference being that my hometown was not in to ménages!
4. Is it part of a series?
Right now I have at least three books planned in the series, but I have introduced a few characters that I find intriguing. They could very well get their own books.
5.A must have snack while you write.
I love sweet iced tea and drink way too much.
6. A fact that someone might not know about you.
I am a Disney addict. We love visiting Disney as a family. I have been more times than I can count.
7. Advice to writers who have yet to be published.
Find your voice as a writer. Don't try and imitate anyone else's. Yes, every story has already been written, so what you bring to the table is how you tell that story.
8. Is there a genre you haven't written yet that you want to?
I am planning a "paranormal romance" book, if I can only find the time to write it.
9. Any quirky habits?
My husband would probably tell you that I have lots of quirky habits. I will say that I am a creature of organization. Being a working mother and needing to find time to write, I depend on schedules and systems to get everything done. So I guess my quirky habit would be that I follow my schedules pretty religiously.
10. Have you written a character that most resembles you?
Not so far. But every character that I write has a little piece of me. For example, Cassie in Plenty to Come loves chocolates and horror movies. She gets that from me.
11. What type of hero do you enjoy writing about?
Men who are alpha but not afraid to show how they feel. He should treat his woman with respect and of course, be really hot in bed!
12. What are you currently reading?
I'm in between books right now but a few of my favorite authors are Tymber Dalton and Laurann Dohner.
13. What are you currently working on?
Actually, I just finished the first book in a new series about an Erotic Romance Book Club – the Martinis and Chocolate Book Club – that has a BDSM flair. It will be out in May at Siren.
14. Anything that you'd like to share.
I feel really grateful to have been given the opportunity to publish my stories! I would love to hear from my readers. They can contact me at LaraValentineauthor@gmail.com or check out my blog at http://eroticromancewriting.wordpress.com/

Packing, Cleaning, Selling, and Hoping to move.
First up, I have some great news...I sold my first BDSM - Bound By Pleasure, to Beachwalk Press! Yay!!!
Now, onto this blog post. My husband works a long commute and we've decided to move. A little about me, before taking my writing serious, I was a clean freak. Now I think its just because I had nothing better to do. Once my writing took off, I learned to let it go. And I do mean let it go. I no longer vacuumed everyday...maybe once a week.
Well I've had a month to get this house ready for the market. Of course sickness had to sweep through, kids on breaks, etc -- which left me with a week before today. Today the house is on the market. And I have cleaned my fanny off. And I still have some to do. Now I should add, I am/was the clean freak and my darling husband is a pack rat/ closet hoarder. So just imagine what this place has gone to in the last year. Yes...bad.
But I did it. Its ready...fingers-crossed this goes smooth. Soon we start looking for a new and bigger home. And while I'm scared to death of moving, I'm also excited. We will be living near family which means my kids will get to see some of their relatives more and I will have someone to socialize with.
There won't be much writing in my future. But thankfully I have several releases already lined up. So I can take a little break--at least from writing. I expect my inbox to be full of edits before long. Which means as I clean up after the husband and kids almost full-time, I will be doing edits. But you know what, I wouldn't give it up for anything. :)

Welcome Dana Michelle Burnett
Today I have guest author Dana Michelle Burnett. Sit back and enjoy this interview as you get to know her a little bit better.
1. Tell us a little about yourself. I am a paranormal romance writer living in beautiful southern Indiana. I am also the proud dance mom to a beautiful daughter.
2. What genre do you write? I currently write in the paranormal romance genre, but I have also published works in the contemporary romance and literary genres.
3. Please tell us about your latest release (insert title) and how you came up with the idea? My latest release is Spiritus. It is a paranormal romance between a girl and a ghost that claims to love her.
4. Is it part of a series? Yes, it is book#1 of a three book series.
5. A must have snack while you write. I am a total sucker for Mike & Ikes.
6. A fact that someone might not know about you. I am a widow and deathly afraid of clowns.
7. If you had to choose a favorite book that you've written, which would it be? It would definitely be Spiritus.
8. Advice to writers who have yet to be published. I recommend anyone wanting to become a writer should read a lot to know your genre better and write a lot to find your own voice. I also recommend Stephen King's On Writing.
9. Is there a genre you haven't written yet that you want to? I've always thought that I would like to try children's books since books were such an important part of my childhood.

12. What type of hero do you enjoy writing about? I love to write about a flawed hero, someone that is far from perfect, but is trying his best.

Welcome Malia Mallory
Today I have Malia Mallory on the blog and she is telling us how she got started with erotic romance. Sit back and enjoy.
To be honest, I've been writing erotica for years, just not publishing it. I've always liked to write and at certain times penned a story for someone special in my life. In those instances, it was pretty much just shared between the two of us. In particular, if someone was travelling or we were doing a long distance thing for some reason, it was a way to be sexual when not physically together.
I've played around with doing more with my writing but never that seriously. I'd look at submission guidelines a couple times a year and continued to jot down my ideas.
Finally last year, I was inspired. I entered an erotic writing contest. I became a finalist and was pleasantly surprised. Though I ultimately didn't win, it did show me I could put out a product that was appealing and readable. I became more serious about investigating publishing.
Then I was struck by the indie writing bug. I didn't have to rely on a publishing company. I didn't have to send something in and wait months for an answer. Don't get me wrong I have nothing against traditional publishing. It's more when I make up my mind to do something, I tend to be in a hurry. Now the deadlines that I set are my own. I'm writing with a purpose. It does feel different though. It is definitely work. I'll keep you posted on my progress!

Excerpt from The ABCs of Erotica - R is for Revenge
Michael opened the end table drawer, revealing a variety of items including a scarf, a mask and a ping pong paddle.
Victoria moved to look more closely. "Oh my, what do we have here?" She reached inside and pulled out an exceptionally long scarf.
Michael took it from her. "I think I know something we can do with this."
She took a deep breath. "Yes." Her simple response was not only agreement, it was acquiescence.
"Take off your blouse." Michael's voice was firm.
"Michael…." Victoria hesitated.
Michael tossed the scarf back into the drawer. "It's up to you Victoria."
She took a deep breath and then unbuttoned her blouse. She pulled it out of the waistband of her skirt and tossed it on the couch.
Michael reached out his index finger and traced the edge of the scalloped lace bra then retrieved the scarf. He tossed one end up over an exposed ceiling beam and pulled the ends even.
He gave Victoria a questioning look. "Well?"
Her face was flushed, and her eyes bright. She simply nodded.
"Put your hands together over your head."
Victoria stepped underneath the hanging ends of the scarf. She crossed her wrists and lifted her arms over her head. Michael wrapped the silken scarf around her wrists and tied them in place. He returned to the drawer and fished out a black eye mask and then returned and tugged it in place over her eyes.
"How do you feel?"

More Than Useful (Hot Bods 2) - Has Released!
I'm so excited that the second book in my Hot Bods series is now available. To this date, this is one of my favorite books I've written. Where my others have had the two really fighting how they felt, More Than Useful is full of fun, flirty, and sexy scenes. I smiled a lot while writing this and if you pick it up, I hope you do to.

Can she settle for just a little fun?
Every Tuesday and Thursday morning Adam stops by Amy's bakery for one of her delicious muffins…and a little flirting. When he finally asks her out, Amy is thrilled.
Adam informs her from the beginning that he isn't looking for anything serious. Just a little fun. Amy agrees, even though she isn't entirely sure that's what she wants.
She does her best to play it cool, but Adam is sending so many mixed signals he's confusing her, which she finds incredibly frustrating.
Adam is terrified by the feelings he's developing for Amy. It would be so much easier if he just backed away from her. Then there's his sister, who is insisting that Amy is not the right girl for him.
Will Adam be able to figure out what his heart desires before it's too late and he loses his chance at true happiness?
Content Warning: explicit sex

If you'd like to read an excerpt from this book, please click the read more link below. Amy walked to the sliding glass door and peered out. An unfamiliar blue sports car pulled up. Biting her lip, she watched as it parked in front of her building. Out stepped Adam. Good God, he was hot, wearing dark jeans and a white button-down shirt. He walked with confidence radiating off his body as he approached her building. A knock sounded on her door and slowly she crossed the living room. Trying hard to gather the courage to answer, she wiped her palms together and counted to three.
As she opened the door and saw him standing there she was speechless. His eyes sparkled and as he smiled she noticed a dimple on his right cheek. An urge came over her to kiss him. It took everything in her not to yank him in by his shirt and throw him onto the couch.
"You look beautiful," he said.
"You look g-great too," she stuttered, wanting to kick herself. "Uh, you want to come in for a moment?"
"Sure." He stepped into the apartment.
"My roommate isn't here. Can I get you a drink?"
"You got any whisky?" He laughed.
"Uh." She wasn't sure what to say.
"Sorry, I'm just nervous. Thought it might take the edge off."
She smiled. "Me too, maybe we both should take a shot to get over our nerves."
She went into the kitchen, grabbed a stool, and climbed up. Opening the cabinet above the fridge, she pulled down a bottle of Jack and two shot glasses. A warmth crept up behind her. His hand was then on her waist.
"Don't want you to fall." He spoke in a raspy tone.
She said nothing, just tried to concentrate on not passing out. One small touch on her lower back sent tingles shooting through her whole body. She was already feeling moist between her legs.
Climbing down, she set the whisky on the counter. Amy unscrewed the top and then filled each glass halfway. Picking both shots up, she turned and handed one to him. He let his fingers linger against hers a moment. If she wasn't careful they wouldn't be leaving this apartment.
"Count of three?" he asked.
She nodded.
"One, two, three."
Each put their glass to their lips, eyes on one another, and tipped the glass up. The liquid was warm as it slid down Amy's throat. Hopefully this would calm her nerves and hormones.
"Can't say I've ever done a shot with my date before we went out," he said as he set the glass down.
"Yeah, this is new for me too."
Her head was already starting to get a little cloudy. Damn, she hadn't eaten since lunch. There was nothing to absorb the alcohol. She just might be feeling real good, real soon.
"This might be forward, but if I don't kiss you before we go out, it's all I'll think about." He looked longingly into her eyes and grabbed a hold of her waist, tugging her against his chest.
Without any hesitation she leaned forward, letting her lips press into his. Her eyes closed as his mouth took hers, lightly at first. She expected the kiss to be short and sweet but urgency took over her. She tangled her fingers into his hair and thrust her tongue into his warm mouth with a strong desire to taste the whiskey on his breath.

Character Interview - Mindy Mayes from Someone Like You
Welcome Mindy Mayes from Someone Like You. I'm really happy to have you hear and that your creator let you come by for a bit.
MM: First I want to thank you for having me, Lacey. I'm not used to doing interviews, so excuse me if I'm nervous.
LW: You're doing fine. I see you're a college student. Where and what's your major?
MM: Yes! I am. I'm attending Kent State University in Kent, Ohio. I'm near the end of my time there, thankfully. As much as I like being in college, I'm not looking forward to the debt. Sigh. But being an art student comes with a price. I'm studying art history. I'd love to teach at the college level, but I don't know if a teaching assistant position is in my future.
LW: What is the draw in dating Arran? He seems so polar opposite to you.
MM: Arran is who he is and no one will make him change. It's funny. I'd drooled over him from across the art history auditorium for so long. I didn't think he knew I was there. Then poof! He asks me out. Strange. But yes, he's my opposite. Very outgoing and talkative. I'd rather read a book, but whatever works.
LW: What do you see yourself doing in ten years time?
MM: I'd love to be teaching art history to a classroom full of students with rapt attention to Greek Art. I'd like to. If you asked my mother, she'd say she sees me married and tugging two squawking children with me everywhere. This will sound mean, but I am not a kid person, so I highly doubt I'll have kids. Arran is enough immaturity for me. Crazy impulsive man.
LW: You mention Arran being impulsive and immature. Do you think he'll ever grow up?
MM: Sigh. I don't know about him sometimes. He's got so many pressures on him to be what he's not. I can't imagine not being accepted by my family. Is he impulsive? Yes. If he gets it in his head he needs to take a trip to the Rock Hall because he's just got to see the Springsteen exhibit, he'll drop everything to go. Is he immature? Well, I don't know too many guys under the age of 22 that are super mature. He's carefree, young and likes to do what he wants to do, but he's got limits. I still love him.
LW: Okay, no for some fun questions. Rapid fire!
MM: (Giggle). Shoot.
LW: Sexiest man alive?
MM: Sean Connery
LW: Song that makes you want to dance?
MM: I Like It by Enrique Iglesias.
LW: Favorite book you've ever read.
MM: Oh man. I've read so many it's hard to choose. Um. Hmm. Wild Card by Lora Leigh.
LW: Dream Job and the place you'd be least likely to work.
MM: Dream Job would be a full professorship at Kent teaching Art. Least likely would be Ronan's Grille. The Guy is a sleaze. But I have no idea what the future holds, so maybe saying I wouldn't work there is a jinx.
LW: Well, that's all the questions I have right now. Thanks for being here. I said you'd do fine. Grin. If you'd like to read more about Mindy and Arran, grab a copy of Someone Like You. You can get it here: http://www.total-e-bound.com/product.asp?strParents=&CAT_ID=&P_ID=1513
