Meet Erotica Author, Anita Cox–But Don’t Tell Her Mom!

[image error]Today erotica author, Anita Cox, joins me to talk about the first book of her new series The Beginning. First, she tells us a little about herself, then she dishes on pretty awesome giveaways–yes plural!

Who has been the biggest influence on your writing? How so?

I read a lot of David Baldacci, Joe Konrath and Kelly Armstrong.  I can see where I pull from each of them. However, I seriously like Konrath’s style of writing. It’s very blunt and to the point. So, while he doesn’t write erotica, I consider him a huge influence.

If you were going to slash two (or more) of your favorite characters from any book, film, or TV show, who would it be, why, and what’s their favorite position?

Eric Northman (TrueBlood) and Syndey Prosser (American Hustle).  They’d definitely be up against  the wall and the drywall would not be safe. There would be an ass dent for sure.

Pitch yourself to shiny, new readers in thirty words or less:

Vixen and former swing-club owner donning knee length boots and latex skirt takes you on the ride of a lifetime with an authentic voice that’s sure to wet your panties.

Tell me about your groupies–what have been your favorite fan moments?

For a while I ran a Q & A on my blog.  People could add comments anonymously.  I taught one person (well others who were on with me) a reflexology trick that turns off the gag reflex so you can knob gobble without fear of losing your lunch. While porns seem to love that sound, for some of us it’s a total mood killer.

Anyway, she tried it and shouted it all over facebook. Total fan for life, that one. She sent me a vibrator in the mail as a ‘thank you.’

Every author has pitfalls in their writing process. Describe one of yours, and what you do to dig out of it.

Every writer out there is going to tar and feather me, but I don’t get writer’s block. I get hey-I-want-to-write-and-the-fuckin’-dog-needs-out again sort of cock blocking.  I’m a wife, a mom to humans and pets and it’s just a huge time suck where my writing is concerned.  But if there is a pitfall for me it has to be marketing.  I don’t like dishing out spam sammies. I don’t want to be that annoying bag of dicks that’s inviting you to 30 events on facebook, clogging your newsfeed with ads for my books (on top of the other thousand douchenozzels doing the same thing.)  I want to be friends. I hope you enjoy my sense of humor and check out my books.

Most of all, I hope my books fill up your spank bank for a while.

My mother always joked about her special place in Hell—just punishments for guilty pleasures. What guilty pleasures will send you to your special place in Hell?

Oh, damn, the swing club.  I just love visiting on-premise clubs, strutting around in my underthings and finding other steamy hot couples to play.  Not the sort of thing you want Mom to know, but yeah… damn, it’s my weakness.

List 5 keywords for your genre and current title:

lifestyle, ménage, discovery, light BDSM, polyamory

In 100 words, write a paragraph including a favorite character from one (or more) of your books, a sex toy, and a very happy ending.

Candy planted her stick-able dildo on the table and eased herself onto it. She watched as this woman on the television, tied to the bed, got a pounding from behind. TV woman moaned and screamed in pleasure and Candy fucked her dildo for all it was worth. Reaching up, she cupped her breast then twisted her nipple slightly. The sensation traveled straight to the depths of her pussy and she bucked as an unexpected orgasm came.

It was a glorious end to a crazy day. She wanted more, but worried that overdoing it would reduce the effects. Could you over-masturbate?

About Anita

Anita Cox has an affinity with leather and high-heeled boots. The same vivacious attitude can be found in her erotic adventure and erotic romance. With her rock star husband, she plays in the lifestyle in which she writes, adding authenticity to her voice.

Anita likes to add strong female characters, even if they are a bit quirky. Her men are hot with just enough flaws to make them loveable.

Meet Erotica Author, D.N. Simmons

Today on my blog is D. N. Simmons. Be sure to check out the tour-long giveaway…

Who has been the biggest influence on your writing? How so?

Hmmmm, very good question. I guess I’d have to say Anne Rice and Stephen King. Their methodology speaks to me and it helps me mold how I want to tell my story. How I want to create my world and characters regardless of what genre I write in.

If you were going to slash two (or more) of your favorite characters from any book, film, or TV show, who would it be, why, and what’s their favorite position?

Oooooh, well, I’d have to pair Dom extraordinaire, Alistair with either Sergio or Elise from my Knights of the Darkness Chronicles. What an explosive pairing that would be. Sergio’s favorite position would no doubt be on the St. Andrews Cross and Elise would be the sex swing. :D

Pitch yourself to shiny, new readers in thirty words or less:

I deliver the story you don’t see coming. My writing will leave you breathless and wanting more.

Tell me about your groupies what have been your favorite fan moments?

I love when my readers tell me how much enjoyment they’ve gotten from my books. How unpredictable and entertaining my novels are. To me, that’s really what writing is all about.

Every author has pitfalls in their writing process. Describe one of yours, and what you do to dig out of it:

Luckily, I don’t suffer from Writer’s Block, but I do hate the editing process. Telling the story is the easy part. Correcting the story becomes the challenge. LOL.

My mother always joked about her special place in Hell—just punishments for guilty pleasures. What guilty pleasures will send you to your special place in Hell?

Wanting to watch a live sex show between two hot men. Needless to say, I live vicariously through some of my characters. LOL!

List 5 keywords for your genre and current title.

I write  in different genres, so I’ll break it down.

(The KOTDC) vampires, shifters, m/m, pnr, UF, action

(The Dead War series) zombies, vampires, dystopian, horror, action

The Pleasure Room (Current Title) Erotica, BDSM, romance, thriller, satisfaction

In 100 words, write a paragraph including a favorite character from one (or more) of your books, a sex toy, and a very happy ending.

Alistair slipped the vibrating ring attachment down the length of his impressive cock then connected it to the vibrator. Reaching over, he grabbed the bottle of lube and poured a generous amount of the slick fluid over his throbbing erection, moaning as the cool liquid ran down the length of his shaft. Tossing the bottle aside, he switched on the vibrator and the sensation shot through the base of his cock like an electric shock. He gasped and arched as his hand gripped his cock and began to pump in earnest. His orgasm intensified with each stroke and vibration until it shot forth, coating his hand, thighs and chest in it’s creamy release. Alistair shut the vibrator off and collapsed onto the mattress, panting and satisfied.

Want a ‘Perfect Ride?’

Perfect Ride by Eva LeFoy and Shiloh SaddlerThat’s exactly what Eval LeFoy and Shiloh Saddler are offering in their new release, Perfect Ride.

What really turns a guy on?

For men, that can be a visual question to answer. Looks, physique, the external package do matter. Sometimes it’s based on difference. The opposite of me is … you. Can opposites attract? Sure! For Cole and Garrett it works and works well.

For Garrett, the blond blue-eyed Cole is a Greek Adonis:

“Cole,” he warned. “Don’t.”

Cole’s pretty blue eyes glittered mischievously. Oh yes, he knew exactly what he did to him.“Don’t like it?”

He shook his head. “Too much. And I want to fuck you too badly,” he panted. “Please….” He pushed Cole gently back, rolled on the condom, and lubed it up.

“How do you want me?” The guileless question, his eager smile, and the light from the trailer window playing over his naked frame made him do a double take. The man looked as gorgeous as a Greek god painting. He doubted he’d ever fucked a man so beautiful in his life. He swallowed, in awe at the sight.

For Cole, Garrett’s thickly chiseled body and dark brown skin grab his attention like an exotic elixir:

Garrett eased his big frame out from behind the stationary table. “Well, I’m game. I’ve been sittin’ on too many tame ones lately. Could use a little excitement.” His sizzling look said he wasn’t talking about bulls. “You gotta head back to work?” He stretched, flexing his chest as he raised his arms and clasped his hands over head.

Cole visually traced the outline of every curved, solid muscle as it moved under his shirt, wondering how they’d feel if he rubbed against them. He hoped he’d find out before this rodeo ended. He shook his head. “Not till after dinner. I have the night shift tonight.”

“Well, don’t that suck. First night here and all.” Garrett put his arms down and tossed his empty plate in the trailer’s tiny sink.

Cole stood, hung his hat on a peg, and ran his fingers through his hair. It stood up in little sweat curls. Time for a shower. “It does. But I gotta spell the boss’s son. He just got back from Hawaii.”

“Hmm.” Garrett managed to prowl across the distance between the sink and the table, though it was only a couple of feet. When he reached Cole, he ran a finger down the placard of his snap-front plaid shirt. “I was in Hawaii, too. Didn’t see you there.”

“I didn’t go. I take care of Spitfire stateside. The boss’s son takes care of him if they fly.” His gaze snagged on the man’s Adam’s apple before lifting higher. The smooth burnt caramel color of his skin was shiny with sweat. It was hot in the trailer. He really ought to open a window. Later. Right after he licked him clean.

The picture of the two of them in bed together – light and dark, opposites – makes for good visuals for the reader, too. Who says women don’t like visual stimulation?

Perfect Ride by Eva LeFoy and Shiloh Saddler

About Perfect Ride

Professional bull rider Garrett Anderson lives for the next town, the next trophy and his next ride. When he rolls into Sheridan, Wyoming, the last thing he expected was to meet a cowboy like Cole—a man who corrals his heart and leaves him aching for the kind of love he’s been missing.

A bull tender on the PBR circuit Cole Richards secretly longs for a lover but wasn’t prepared for Garrett’s passion or the longing their one brief tryst kindles. After he is shot and recovering in his hospital bed, Cole can only watch Garrett’s disastrous ride afraid it could be his last. Heartbroken when the battered and bruised bull rider leaves town, Cole knows better than to hope to see him again.

Attacked again and knee-deep in trouble, Cole wants only Garrett at his side. But can his bull rider trade fame and fortune for a lifetime with his one perfect ride?

Sophie Avett’s Sinister Stitches Dress Fitting Interview, guest-starring Angela Louise McGurk’s Eve Blakethorn-Sullivan (Vampire Alliance)

My characters

are either naked or dressed to kill. Given they’re all monsters stalking the

city of New Gotham’s twisted, cracked, and cobbled streets, the criminal

wardrobe is part of the job description. Rockabilly princesses, corpse brides,

leather queens…my city is full of them. Where do they get their menacing

threads?

There is a boutique

hiding out between the fractured, narrow store-fronts lining the foggy docks.

The shingles are ribbed and black. Washed, peeling paint and displays offering

views into wicked leather and lace studded glam. The mannequins are ghoulish

beauties stitched together from whatever was left from the last fool to cross

one of the sinister witches.

Push open its

shabby, frosted front door. Tiny white flakes of paint will pepper the wind

like spectral dust. The minute you set heel onto waxy polished oak floors and

step into the candelabra fire-light you know…

This is where

the magic happens.

Welcome

to Sinister Stitches

“…apparel

for a wicked fairy tale.”

A spicy

trinity of black magic sisters breathe star-dusted dreams to life with their

gothic apparel boutique. They are schooled in the old ways of “fabric-bending”

by the Needlewitches of old. With this knowledge, they’ve created an entire

line of clothing that all share the same basic design element: one-size fits

all. Each garment will magically tailor itself to its wearer once worn. There

may might be some “twirling” required, but a vampire’s steady hand should turn

every wardrobe change into a stolen moment.

Care to take

a peek at what the Sinister Stitches has to offer?

Check out

some of the questionnaire Angela Louise McGurk’s Eve

Blakethorn-Sullivan from the Vampire Alliance series
was

asked to fill out after she wandered into Sinister Stitches.

THE WITCHES WHO STITCH

QUESTIONNARE

Please

Please

provide the witches with your measurements and body-type.

a.) Height:

5’6”

b.) Body

Type:
[ ] Skeletal, [ ] Lean and Tender, [x] Lean and Tough, [ ] Ripe and

Edible

Do

you have any extra extremities? Place an “X” to all that apply.

[ ] 20 ft. of

Hair or More
[ ] Gills and

Fins or [ ] Hooves
[ ] Wings

(Span:   )
[ ] Tail (How

many:   )

How

many heads do you have?

Just the one, a standard human looking

head. Well, standard until my eyes silver and my fangs descend.

Do

you have arms and legs? If so, how many?

Two arms and two legs, again, very human

looking.

How

dead are you?
[x] Living, [x] Undead, [ ]

Astral Form

What

are you?
(Species/Breed

Strix, a very rare breed of vampire.

What

is the occasion? (
Ideas include: Wedding,

Funeral, Sabbath, etc. Oh, and seduction is a valid occasion. The more details,

the better.)

Life’s been so difficult in recent years

that I’d just like to own a pretty dress. Both my wedding dresses, all of my

clothes and all of my memorabilia were lost in enemy attacks on my past homes,

so I’d just like to own something nice. If I’m ever again given an opportunity

to party I’ll need something to wear!

What’s

the occasion setting?
(Beach, haunted castle, grand ball, etc.)

I have high hopes for my husband’s

Georgian country estate, it’s in Yorkshire in England. Having a party there

would be quite nice, wouldn’t it? We could make that into a ball, he has a

ballroom.

Will

you be running for your life at some point in the evening?

(Helps with shoe selection.)

I hope not but let’s face it, my last

wedding was attacked and many of my guests were killed and the church was

burned down. It’s entirely possible I’ll end up running for my life, it always

seems possible!

Will

you be set on fire?
Better yet, will you be setting other people on fire?
Again, I hope not. I’ve been on fire

before and my enemies burned down the church where my wedding was being held.

I’d rather not go through that again. The reason my hair’s short is because my

lovely long locks were burned off…

Will

you be grave-robbing?
(Dirt is a dressmaker’s tedium.)

Certainly not, I have quite enough…

misdemeanors… to my names as it is.

Is

your neck a dinner plate?

Only for my husbands. Yes, there are two

of them. It’s complicated ok? One died and I moved on then he wasn’t dead

anymore and things got complicated!

Do

you hope to be naked at some point in the evenin
g?

(All right, dirty birds. Such questions

are actually intended toward the weres and shifters in regards to their

transformations.)

I’m not a were or shifter so public nudity

is not to be expected. I was a ‘courtesan’ not a stripper…

Describe

your last brush with Death in two sentences.
(Helps us plan for the unexpected.)

The vampire government attacked the

facility where my husbands were living. I had to pull one of them from the

flames and got quite crispy myself.

Do

you need a secret compartment for weapons, wands, tampons, etc.?

I routinely carry a katana, a hand gun and

several knives strapped to as many limbs as possible. Can you work with that?

What

are your three favorite colors?

Slate blue, blood red and silver.

What

two colors rattle your kettle?

Lime green and orange.

Please

pick a style that you feel embodies you the best. If none apply, feel free to

surprise us by providing your own brilliant description in the “other” slot.

[ ]

Rockabilly Starlet: This

is for the spoonfuls of sugar. The good-natured and naughty girl next door

types. Candy is the business and fairy tales are ultimate. More often than not,

her head is in the clouds and her nose in the book.
Our dreamers.

[X]

Leather Queen: This

is for the warrior princesses. The type of girls who give boys a run for their

money and wear tight jeans just watch the little vampires come undone. Hands

for fighting and these heels for ass-kickings. Our protectors.

[ ]

Medieval Mistress:
This is for the no-nonsense girls. The ones

who know better because they’re ten steps ahead. They’re schemers—they might be

shy, or they might not be. More importantly, they’re selective. Our wisdom.

[ ]

Gothic Dame:
This for the mysteries.

The ones no one can quite make heads or tails out off. She’s a mixture, a

melting pot of sugar and sinister. She might be Rockabilly Starlet one day, or

a Medieval Mistress other days. Our sisters.

[ ]

Other: _____________________

Who

is your favorite fairy tale villain?

Maleficent, classic evil.

If

you could be any fairy tale princess, who would it be?

Elsa from Frozen, because she’s slightly

naughty with a seductive streak but ultimately loyal.
Now,

tell us the twit you hate most.

Hardy Charleston, wouldn’t you hate the

ass who ordered your husband’s execution and then violated you every way he

could dream up? Yeah, I really hate that man. My tale isn’t a pretty one thanks

to him, although he has taught me to kick-ass!

Anything

else you’d like to add…

The boys (my husbands) were born in the

1890s and made vampire during the First World War. Rob was landed gentry, Tul

was his valet (see, it’s complicated – they were friends a century before

meeting me!). If a bit of 1912 style could be incorporated into my dress that

would be fabulous but I don’t know how easily that will mesh with a dress I can

fight in. Is it even plausible? Just tell me if it’s not. I’m not going to bite

or anything.

After

many barrels of chocolate, a dash of magic, and furious sewing…

Sinister

Stitches’ Leather Queen,

Brenda

Dweyer presents Eve’s Completed Dress

“Snow

Queen”

Seated on the counter top

with her legs crossed, Brenda the She-wolf is painted in a scarlet leather

cat-suit and matching snake-skin f#ck-me-pumps. She flashes a brilliant white

crescent of even white teeth and sharp dainty canines:

I know. The dress is the shit. The Eve is

the shit. And I’m the motherf#cking majesty. Brenda Dweyer is the name my momma

gave me. It’s MISTRESS Dweyer if you’ve got something hard and heavy hanging

between your thighs.

Ain’t that right, sugar baby?

The Russian werewolf

posted in the corner of the Sinister Stitches’ tea room snorts at his wife and

flips her the Bird:
Is

true.

Brenda lifts an eyebrow

and her cherry-stained lips crook with a sinister promise:
Later.

For

now, cry me a river…because that’s what this “pretty” dress is made out of—tears.
Dragonling

tears to be exact. It’s flame retardant, and yes, doll, I sure did skin the beast

myself, but hopefully, this dress can withstand anything life throws at you.

Hopefully you’ll take it to your grave. Again and again.

The

skirt overplayed with a shimmering black dahlia tulle petticoat. It’s buttoned

to the corset and can be ripped off and abandoned in favor of the sleek, black

patent leather pants we recommend wearing under the skirt, but hey—I’m on the

kind of bitch that does it loud and naked, so whatever’s cool with me.

Russian werewolf chuckles: Is true.

Despite her “majesty,” Brenda’s

ears flush pink and she hurries nails through her raven curls and snorts:
You’ll note the two red wings on each

side of the skirt—wave and say “hello” to the enchanted pockets for all the

heat you’re packing. The katana should fit nicely in the left one—it’s

fashioned with special Void fabric imported from the Veil that should allow the

steel to fold and bend with the skirt.
I

know, right?

Someone

give me a cookie, I’m killing this sh#t.

For

the final piece, would everyone please break their necks this direction…

Yes,

that’s right—hands were made for fighting and these gloves were made for those

who like to do it dirty. Crafted from what I had left over from the Void

fabric—not only should these gloves can store: two more pistols, a locking

picking set, a tube of lipstick,  and

three sleeves of ammunition.

So, work it

girl.

Stalk to the

ball and have yourself a little bang, bang.

Owner and operator of Bits and Pieces, and resident expert on charms and glamours, Elsa Karr is a witch with a sour frown and a list of things to do as long as Thor’s hammer. Top of the list is saving her father’s shop from ruin. If she isn’t trying to claw her way out of debt, she’s arguing with her cat, Fenris, or shoveling carts of cake into her gob. She’s not interested in romance or the vampire who rents the flat above her shop. All she wants is a little peace and chocolate–fine, all right! All right! The vampire is kind of screw all cute. (Curse him.)

The disgraced son and heir of the Wingates House vampire clan and a mad-man to boot, Marshall Ansley spends most of his time working and dodging his mother’s phone calls. Marshall is beyond family. He’s beyond everyone, actually. Don’t be daft, he especially doesn’t do…Christmas. But behold, the plague brings an original flavor of annoyance this year when his boss tasks him with acquiring the account of a recluse fey and her upcoming Gothic clothing boutique, Sinister Stitches. That is the ONLY reason he’s bothering with his shrewish landlord. No, that’s it. No…really. Fine, if you insist, the witch might be a tad bit…all right, she’s adorable. (Damn her.)

Scrooge meets Scrooge. Dominant meets Dominant. Tempers…spark. In each other, they may unfold a tale that only comes to pass on the darkest of nights.

About the Author:

Sophie Avett is kind of a nerd. Like not even one of the cute, hip ones everyone brags about nowadays. More like the socially awkward hippie who eats way too much bread and dreams about being a dragon from behind towers of mythology books. Um…yeah. Picture old, tattered paperbacks and comic books–mostly Batman and Wonder Woman–dwarfing a tiny desk, with just barely enough room for the troll who writes there and the 70 pound hell-hound that insists of laying it’s wet nose on top of her bare foot.

Granted not the most exciting existence, but she tries to make up for it by writing romances populated with her own peculiar ilk of paranormal beasties.  Trolls, wyverns, the obscure Nordic brownie–she likes to keep things interesting. And bloody. (And mostly naked–but, we’ll keep that bit between us.)

Sophie Avett loves to hear from her readers. (Hi, mom.) So if there’s something on your mind, feel free to leave a message after the scream.

Meet Erotica Author, Houston Havens

Today on my blog is Houston Havens. Stay tuned for her tour, because she’s giving away five copies of her book in a Rafflecopter giveaway!

Sinful Surrender by Houston havens

Who has been the biggest influence on your writing?

I appreciate the time you’ve given me to introduce myself to your readers and fans! Johanna Lindsey is my biggest influence. She’s an awesome author, who can write in any genre.

If you were going to slash two (or more) of your favorite characters from any book, film, or TV show, who would it be, why, and what’s their favorite position?

Well, I’m not a TV watcher—I work 16 hour days on my books. As far as my reading these days, it’s limited. So I spend my time on nonfiction. It actually helps with my research for my books’ subject matter. I wish every day had more than 24 hours, so I could read more.

Pitch yourself to shiny, new readers in thirty words or less:

A tenacious Irish lass filled with passion and mystery who hopes her sultry stories will entertain and fascinate those who dare to take the journey.

Tell me about your groupies–what have been your favorite fan moments?

I’ve got great fans. I love chatting with them.

Every author has pitfalls in their writing process. Describe one of yours, and what you do to dig out of it.

I tend to fall into the habit of using repetitive words and phrases that my poor editor has to point it out to me so I can fix it.

My mother always joked about her special place in Hell—just punishments for guilty pleasures. What guilty pleasures will send you to your special place in Hell?

Having a manicure and pedicure that I top off with a sexy shade of hot pink … it tends to drive the men wild, you know?

List 5 keywords for your genre and current title.

Sinful Surrender. Erotic, Paranormal, Fantasy, Sci-Fi, Romance.

In 100 words, write a paragraph including a favorite character from one (or more) of your books, a sex toy, and a very happy ending.

Her sexy cowboy, Sam, rubbed his erection over her bottom. He slid a butt plug in and out of her ass, making her pussy twitch with desire. Roxie moaned and wiggled her hips. “Stick your cock in my butt.”

He withdrew the plug and slipped the swollen head of his shaft in making her moan. Little by little he inched himself deeper into her until he seated himself to his balls. She began rocking back and forth as he latched onto her hips for the ride of their life, and oh what a sensuous life it was of Sinful Surrender.

About Sinful Surrender

Top psychic spy Fay Avalon saw too much on her latest mind traveling mission and is now on the run from her post-catastrophic dystopian government, searching for the truth and proof. She escapes but is shot down, landing in the arms of the enemy.

In Drakker and Arlo’s world, women are so rare the men have accepted a polyandrous lifestyle. When the brothers stumble upon Fay unconscious in the wreckage of an aircraft, they are immediately attracted to her. Arlo wants to keep her, but Drakker knows they can’t. They must take her to their brother Logan Abán, leader of their people.

Logan struggles with trusting anyone, even himself. When a beautiful, intelligent, and intriguing woman falls into their laps, his denied desires for intimacy challenge his need to trust the spy. He’s frustrated by romantic Arlo’s claims of her innocence. Even when pragmatic and dominating Drakker defends her as well, Logan refuses to trust his gut.

Can one woman satisfy the diverse desires of three men? Will Logan’s fears be realized by betrayal? Is Fay to be sentenced to death as a spy, suffer a fate worse than death by being returned to her government as a traitor, or will she find a new life and love as the wife of three sexy brothers?

Meet Erotica Author, Danica Avet

Thanks for welcoming Danica Avet to my blog! Check out her interview, and make sure to enter the Rafflecopter for the great tour prizes!

Who has been the biggest influence on your writing? How so?

Wow, that’s a tough question! I could attribute a lot of my writing to my aunt’s neighbor. No, not like that. She was a sweet old lady who had a bunch of bad habits her family knew nothing about until she died. When they went through her things, they discovered she smoked and had a romance book reading habit. LOL. I was 13 and I remember getting these boxes full of romance novels. From that day onward, I was hooked on them. They were the simple, sweet Harlequin serials with closed door sex. Then by the time I was 17, I was reading hotter stuff where there was actual juices flowing and oral sex and things that made me blush while reading them, but I was addicted.

It wasn’t until a few years later that I started reading the harder, hotter stuff, but by then I was already trying my hand at writing. Like my Harlequin books, my stories were somewhat hot. I went into detail, but not nearly as much as I do now. I’ve evolved as an erotic romance writer. Or as my uncle calls it, “Writing that porno.” LOL But writing “porno” is fun!

If you were going to slash two (or more) of your favorite characters from any book, film, or TV show, who would it be, why, and what’s their favorite position?

Hmmm. I’d probably take Riddick from Pitch Black (‘cause you can’t go wrong with Vin Diesel, right?), King Leonidas from 300 (um, yeah…Gerard Butler with that beard and those fierce, animalistic moods) and make a Beatrix Kiddo from Kill Bill sandwich. Why? Because those are two touch mofos and she’s probably the only woman who could handle them. Except for me of course. At the same time. Because yeah…*stares into space*

Um, their favorite position would be the Eiffel Tower. One in front, one in back and going at it hard and fast with lots of sweat and swearing and… Pardon me, I do believe I need to fan myself for a few minutes.

Pitch yourself to shiny, new readers in thirty words or less:

I write erotic romance with a touch of Cajun spice. I like kickass heroines and even stronger heroes.

Tell me about your groupies–what have been your favorite fan moments?

Well, anytime I get fan emails, I squee like a preteen at a Justin Bieber concert. I can’t help myself. I’m still in that phase where I can’t believe people actually read my books. Sure, I’ve been writing for over 4 years now, with 17 books out, but I still hold this belief that people buy my books and either stare at them or ignore them. Never actually read them. LOL

The other moment I had was at a conference when another author came up to me to say, “Hey Danica, you have a fan here.” Luckily I was at the bar already hitting up my Jack and Coke because I must’ve got this deer in the headlights look and gasped, “Where?! Why? I don’t have fans!” LOL I did meet my fan and she was awesome. It’s perhaps the coolest thing ever to meet people who truly enjoy my work. I guess it’s kind of the way I feel when I go to a signing and see Kresley Cole there. I turn into a total fangirl.

Every author has pitfalls in their writing process. Describe one of yours, and what you do to dig out of it.

Oh boy, do we have room for a dissertation? LOL I tend to get stuck on the small details. Mostly like titles and character names. Maybe it’s my writer’s OCD kicking in, but I can’t even start a story until I have that title and those characters have the perfect names. I get out of that by writing titles down when they come to me and saving them in a spreadsheet so I can use them later. As for the character name part, I spend a lot of time on Behind the Name searching for the perfect names.

My mother always joked about her special place in Hell—just punishments for guilty pleasures. What guilty pleasures will send you to your special place in Hell?

Er, well. *shifty eyes* First off, I’m a single girl. Secondly, I love to look at men. Love it. I used to host different male models and dancers on my blog, interviewing them for my readers, but now I’ve slacked off that and taken a bigger interest in just looking at them, LOL.

And because I like to look, I may have a Tumblr account. I don’t post anything on it. I mostly log on to stare in awe at the mighty massive cocks one of the people I follow posts. It’s for research. I swear. Okay, I might just look for the hell of it, but why wouldn’t I? Some of those men… Yowsa! Or rather, “Ouch!” LOL

Erotic Romance, Superheroes, Paranormal, Gritty. Touched by Lightning

In 100 words, write a paragraph including a favorite character from one (or more) of your books, a sex toy, and a very happy ending.

Grasping her hip in one hand, he guided the toy to her entrance. Trust Isola to buy the biggest toy she could find. The damn thing was only a couple of inches smaller than he was, and nearly as thick. He supposed that was a good thing because at least using it on her would prepare her body for him when they finally consummated this raging chemistry between them.

Grant knew his smile wasn’t nice, but he couldn’t hold it back. Isola was in his power and panting for what he would give her. Even so, she squirmed in his hold, but Grant didn’t falter, sliding that thick, vibrating cock into her.

Thanks for having me on your blog today! I hope everyone checks out Touched by Lightning.

Ellora’s Cave

About tDanica

Danica Avet was born and raised in the wilds of South Louisiana (that would be somewhere around Houma) where mosquitoes are big enough to carry off small children and there are only two seasons: hot and hotter. With a BA in History, she figured there were enough fry cooks in the world and decided to try her hand at writing.

Danica is the lucky pet of a compulsively needy dog and two cats. The pitter-patter of little feet has been known to make her break out into a cold sweat.

Writing is how she gives the voices in her head a way out. When she isn’t writing, working or contemplating the complexities of the universe, she spends time gathering inspiration from her insane family, reads far more than any sane person would want to, and watches hot burly men chase an oblong ball all over a field.

About Maggie

Author Picture - Maggie WellsWebsite | Blog | Facebook | Twitter | Goodreads

Maggie Wells is a deep-down dirty girl with a weakness for hot heroes and happy endings.

By day she is buried in spreadsheets, but at night she pens tales of people tangling up the sheets. The product of a charming rogue and a shameless flirt, this mild-mannered married lady has a naughty streak a mile wide.

Fueled by supertankers of Diet Coke, Maggie juggles fictional romance and the real deal by keeping her slow-talking Southern gentleman constantly amused and their two children mildly embarrassed. They are the food purveyors to three dogs, a passel of fish, and one impertinent house rabbit she claims is the love of her life. Shh. Don’t tell her husband.

Friday Flashfic – Lightning, Then Thunder

100 words to tell a story based on an image…

Today’s inspiring photo is from Will Blog for Sex.

 Lightning, Then Thunder

I loved

him over me,

his hands on me,

his lips tracing my face,

the naughty plans he whispered

in my ear.

I wanted to cream

from finally having him,

to touch,

to feel,

to fuck.

Finally, he was mine.

And to be fair,

he helped

get me there.

But when she

knelt between us

and slipped her tongue

along my slit,

everything he did

was an afterthought

to the swirling,

darting

bliss

teasing

my hole.

He was the lightning

foretelling the storm

she stirred in me,

an element in

the torrent of lust

she

left puddled

at our feet.

Meet Erotica Author, Melissa Keir!

Tour Banner - Chalkboard Romance

Today on my blog is erotica author, Melissa Keir!

Who has been the biggest influence on your writing? How so?

The person who’s been the biggest influence on my writing has been Liz Crowe. I joke that she’s my fairy godmother. My first book was in edits when the publishing house closed. Liz encouraged me to get back out there and try a different publishing house. She’s been a big supporter and wonderful friend. I’m a fan of her writing and wish I could write like her.

Author Picture - Melissa KeirIf you were to have sex with one of your characters, which would you choose, and why?

I would love to have sex with Alex Hunter from Second Time’s the Charm and Three’s a Crowd. He’s a sexy dad who’s romantic and goes after what he wants. I love his body type and find his personality sexy.

Pitch yourself to shiny new readers in twenty words or less:

Melissa Keir writes small town, contemporary romances with sizzling sex, hot and hunky characters.

Tell me about your groupies–what have been your favorite fan moments?

Groupies? I am just beginning to get stalkers! Really, I’ve loved hearing from people who’ve read my books. With my Wilder Sister Series, many of the people from Amherst, Ohio where the story takes place have begun to read the stories and share that they enjoy the hometown pieces. One of my favorite reviews has been when a reviewer said that my book was so realistic that it hurt her to read it because it pushed all her buttons from her own past.

Slash two (or more) of your favorite characters from any book, film, or TV show. Tell us who they are, why you’re making them do naughty things, and their favorite position.

Of course I have to pick Roarke from J.D. Robb’s In Death series. He’s a sexy guy who pushes all my buttons. I’d love to see him connect with Anita Blake. She’s a lot like his wife, Eve, but with her need for sex and metaphysical talents, he wouldn’t stand a chance.

Their favorite position would be standing up, against the wall. Roarke wouldn’t be able to wait to penetrate Anita and she’s draining his life force as he pounds into her.

Every author has pitfalls in their writing process. Describe one of yours, and what you do to dig out of it.

My biggest pitfall is finding the time to write. With my full time day job and my job as owner of a publishing house, I’m busy from morning until night. Often my writing gets pushed to the side because I don’t have a deadline. I’ve been working on setting aside time for writing. All the new ideas are piling up and I’m determined to get my stories out there.

What was the inspiration for your latest release?

The inspiration for my latest release was a real life romance I had with a former student’s parent. I ended up marrying him. While the concept of a real life romance between a teacher and a parent is real, the rest of the story is fiction. I love to take a snippet of real-life in my books.

My mother always joked about her special place in Hell—just punishments for guilty pleasures. What guilty pleasures will send you to your special place in Hell?

My mom would have given you a list! I would probably end up in a place in Hell where you can only eat chocolate, since I love it but I’m trying to be good. I can just imagine that if I ate chocolate all day long, I’d be sick of it and that’d ruin my love of chocolate.

Another place in Hell for me would be where you start a book and get to the good part but the ending is missing. I’m a voracious reader. I would read each moment of the day if I could. Nothing would frustrate me more than to read a book but not be able to finish it! I need my happily ever after!

Mac blindfolded Lauren and then he escorted her into the opulent bedroom. Slowly he stripped her of her clothes, kissing her body as each piece dropped to the floor. Mac aggressively sucked on Lauren’s nipples, forcing them to peaks.

He fastened nipple clamps to her swollen peaks. A gasp escaped Lauren’s lips as the delightful pressure triggered moisture between her thighs.

“Fuck me.” Lauren’s voice held a breathlessness of need.

Mac complied and bent her over, burying his cock deep in her wet folds. With a gentle tug on the clamps, Mac and Lauren shattered in bliss.

About Melissa

Website | Blog | Facebook | Twitter | Goodreads

Melissa Keir has always wanted to be an author when she wasn’t hoping for a career as a race car driver. Her love of books was instilled by her mother and grandparents who were avid readers. She’d often sneak books away from them so that she could fantasize about those strong alpha males and plucky heroines. In middle school and high school, Melissa used to write sappy love poems and shared them with her friends and still has those poems today! In college her writing changed to sarcastic musings on life as well as poems with a modern twist on fairy tales and won awards for her writing. You can find many of these musings along with her latest releases on her website and blog.

As a writer, Melissa likes to keep current on topics of interest in the world of writing. She’s a member of the Romance Writers of America and is always interested in improving her writing through classes and seminars. Her current projects include her short story “Forever Love” published in the Valentine Anthology, Love, Again, set to be released on Feb. 14th as well as two books—Second Time’s the Charm and Protecting His Wolfe- published through Rebel Ink Press this year.

Melissa doesn’t believe in down time. She’s always keeping busy. Melissa is a wife and mother, an elementary school teacher, a book reviewer, an editor for a publishing company as well as an author. Her home blends two families and is a lot like the Brady Bunch, without Alice- a large grocery bill, tons of dirty dishes and a mound of laundry. She loves to write stories that feature happy endings and is often seen plotting her next story.
