Bones Of The Sea Cover Reveal! (Vote On The Colour!)
Aaaannndddd here she is!!!!!!
(I said yesterday I was going to break with Friday-video tradition and post this cover today, and that’s because last night when I was writing yesterday’s post, which has been back dated to make it look like I posted it on time in the morning :D, I was so tired I thought it was Thursday, sigh.)

I don’t have a blurb for this yet (since I’m only a quarter of the way through, URGH!), but it has carnivorous mist, a vengeful ocean, bone magic, a kind of mini-...

So, About Those 2020 Plans…
Ah ha, ah ha ha ha ha.
Well. We all knew that I was being ambitious with my 2020 plans, because I always am. I didn’t expect to be *quite* this far behind at not even the end of January though :’D
The insomnia is getting better, but not super fast, and now that I’m back at work I can’t sleep in to compensate, so this week I am just Brain. Dead.
Which, I expected this, and I’m doing better than I thought in terms of brain fog and exhaustion, but also I’m in meetings all day where I ca...

Made-It Monday: Play Mats!
Welcome to #MadeItMonday, where I post something I’ve made in the previous week, and where you can join in and post something you made too! The rules are easy: post a pic somewhere of something you’ve made in the last week (ish; let’s say in the last month as the hard-and-fast) and tag it. Sit back and enjoy scrolling through all the beautiful things we’ve collectively created, and celebrate the fact that humans can be awesome!
Heh, mostly dealing with insomnia last week and trying to rest i...

Realistified Drawings, Or, #PhotoshopLifeGoals
Been watching a lot of art stuff on YouTube lately, thanks to my lovely copics, the time I had over the holidays to actually spend some time on art, and three gorgeous, gorgeous art books I have recently acquired.
So here’s a fun way to end our weeks: with a photoshop genius who takes people’s drawings and photoshopifies them into realistic-looking Things!
#PhotoshopLifeGoals. At some point in the next year or three, I want to take some photoshop courses so I can expand on my prett...

First Amy Laurens Inklet Of 2021!
Wow, still feels slightly surreal to be saying that. Usually I’m so deep into planning ahead for the following quarter that I get frustrated in September when diaries for the following year are hard to source (seriously tempted to spend a week creating my own, really, and just print a copy each year) and by December, I’m so deep in the following year that I have to keep double checking I’ve written the date correctly.
This year? Yeah, nope.
I guess something about 2020 (*cough, cough*) m...

“It’s Been One Week” 2021 Parody – Too Good/Accurate Not To Share
I had a different post lined up for today, but then I found this, and it’s too good/accurate not to share.
I just… oh dear. Here’s to… 2022… guys? Yeah?
What’s keeping you sane this week, my lovely people?

I don’t know about you, but I’ve kind of had my fingers in my ears going LA-LA-LA when it comes to the calendar lately. I guess some people might have reacted to 2020 by eagerly awaiting the dawn of 2021, but idk. For me, it’s been very la-la-la.
Nevertheless, it’s now basically halfway through January (WHAT?!?!?!!!!!), so I guess at least a brief 2020 overview is warranted And, more excitingly, a look ahead to what 2021 might hold.
…Hang on, I’m going to go dig around in last January a...
