Solo Travel and “The Way”

Saturday night I watched the 2010 film “The Way
” starring Martin Sheen.
It’s not a brilliant film. It’s a sweet film. It doesn’t break any new ground but its subject matter is compelling and it stays with you.

How to Chautauqua

Evidence in the Chautauqua parking lot reveals that people come for this nine-week event from all over the United States including Florida, New York, Ohio, Kentucky, Connecticut, California, Maryland, West Virginia, North Carolina, Georgia, Nebraska, Tennessee, Ontario of course, and many other places.

Early on a Saturday morning in June (very early for this non-morning person!) I found myself surrounded by the sights and sounds of a busy farmer’s market.
