It is a philosophical journey of the soul and how to aspire from the depths of despair to become what we are meant to be as human beings. It is an autobiography, but reads like fiction discussing my journey through the acute pain of addiction and recovery while paralleling my journey on the yogic path of enlightenment. The book is titled 20,000 Oms and a Cup of Chai, which I wrote while living in a Yoga ashram in southern India in late 2015 and will be released as a second edition in 2025.(less)

A couple of the chapters and scenes in the book are from short st…moreI had some iteration of the idea for Caution Earth in my head for a number of years. A couple of the chapters and scenes in the book are from short stories that I wrote almost ten years ago. They required some modification to fully fit the story arc, but for the most part, they are the same.

I have always been interested in understanding the human condition and love satire. So I thought to myself, what would more advanced species in outer space think of how we live, and what is the best vector to tell that story? From there, it came together naturally, more so than I expected.(less)
