Is Drupal Entityforms a Good Alternative to Webform?
Last month, we ran a webinar called 45 Modules in 45 Minutes.
In the webinar we listed 45 of the best Drupal modules in 45 minutes.
One of the modules we mentioned was Webform, which is a module we use in every beginner class.
In the comments on that webinar, someone mentioned Entityforms as a better option than Webform and one that is more tightly integrated to Drupal.
I decided to take Entityforms for a test drive ...

Akeeba CMS Update for Joomla
The Akeeba Team recently released Akeeba CMS Update, an extension that improves the Joomla! update experience. Its main features include improved reliability across web hosts, update notifications by email, automatic updates via cron, and a backup-before-update feature.
If it gets good feedback and there's interest, it could potentially get submitted for inclusion in the Joomla core. The Akeeba Team are also the authors of the current Joomla built-in core updater, which I thought is reliable already, but I guess they wanted to take it to the next level. Kudos to them.
With that in mind, here's a preview of Akeeba CMS Update Alpha.

Drupal: You have not created any content types yet
Some times we write long blog posts with detailed, technical explanations.
Other times we write about very quick and simple fixes. This is one of those very quick posts.
We've had questions from OSTraining members about an error message on Drupal's Add content page. The message they get is: "You have not created any content types yet".

Can You Trust BuiltWith, W3Techs and Software Usage Statistics?
The Drupal Association put out a press release today, quoting some statistics about Drupal.
The press release said:
According to Drupal.org stats, Drupal now powers more than 1 million websites.
According to Builtwith Research, Drupal powers more than 12% of the world’s top 100,000 websites.
I regularly see stats like this fly around the web, particularly on Twitter.
So, I decided to use these Drupal stats as an example and answer the question: "Can you trust software usage statistics?"
