Use Font Awesome in Photoshop Designs

Font Awesome is a popular font icon used by developers.

The old fashioned technique was to crop images to work as icons and provide the same image quality for all sizes. Font Awesome is a more sophisticated alternative.

We use this amazing font in our new Breeze template.

You can use Font Awesome in any website by loading the font and CSS files, but also you can integrate in your Photoshop designs. In this tutorial we will show you how to.

Learn Hikashop for Joomla E-Commerce

We've recently launched a large e-commerce project for an OSTraining customer.

They wanted a Joomla store that was powerful, flexible and easy-to-use. After evaluating the available solutions, we strongly recommended Hikashop.

We're not alone in our high opinion of Hikashop. It has very positive reviews on the J.E.D. and a rating of nearly 4.9 out of 5.

Today we launch the first part of our video training series on Hikashop. The first 10 videos cover setting up your Hikashop store.

Next Monday we'll lanunch the second 10 videos which will cover launching and running your store.

Why is WordPress Easy? Can It Become Simpler?

A lot of people say that WordPress is easy to use.

I hear that claim all the time, but rarely see anyone show evidence that it is true.

This article is the first in a series of short overviews and tutorials on digital currencies.

I'm going to introduce you to Ripple, open source software that could become an essential platform for currency in the 21st century.

27 Funny, Imaginative and Odd Drupal Logos

Some organizations are very serious about their logos. They produce exhaustive guidelines on how their logo should and should not be used.

The Drupal community takes the opposite approach. The Drupal logo is called "Druplicon" and is released under the GPL license. That licensing allows designers to do whatever they want with the logo.

That design freedom has led to some funny, imaginative and downright strange variations on the Drupal logo.

Here are 27 of our favorites from events around the world.

Fullscreen Websites with jQuery.fullscreen

Many years ago, when flash websites were popular and no-one cared about SEO, websites often went fullscreen.

A fullscreen website would hide the desktop and also the browser elements such as address bar and bookmarks menu.

Thanks to the jQuery.fullscreen, you can add this feature to your non-Flash websites.

Here's how to use the jQuery.fullscreen plugin:

Learn Drupal 7 Panels

Every Monday we release a new video class, and this week's class is Drupal 7 Panels.

Panels is a powerful module you can use to create your own layouts and specialized landing pages. With complete control over layout, content and a drag and drop interface, Panels is the "go to" for many site administrators who don't create template override files.

In this class, Rod introduces you to the power of Panels, exploring the basics plus custom layouts, custom rulesets and hierarchal variants to give you complete control over your layout.
