Why and How We Use Pingdom for Uptime Monitoring
This is the first in a series of blog posts on the tools that we find indispensable at OSTraining.
Most of us run a few websites.
Some of the sites are personal blogs, and no-one really cares if they have a few occasional minutes of downtime.
However, some sites, such as OSTraining, are mission-critical. Even if this site is down for a few minutes, there's a good chance that will cost us real money. Either new customers will be scared away or existing customers will be disappointed.

Come to Our Beginner Track at DrupalCamp Florida
Some events are traditions. Florida DrupalCamp is a great example: this year will be the sixth DrupalCamp in Orlando.
Orlando is full of tourist attractions and less than an hour from the beach. It's perfect for a weekend away.
We're going to be at Florida DrupalCamp, doing a whole track of Drupal beginner training.
Come and join us in March for some sun, some theme parks and lots of Drupal.

Learning Launch: Mastering Web Application Development with AngularJS
Every month, OSTraining members get a new, professional web development book to download.
Your book for February is "Mastering Web Application Development with AngularJS" by Pawel Kozlowski and Peter Bacon Darwin.
One of our predictions for 2014 was that CMSs will become much more reliant on Javascript.
More than any other Javascript framework, we see AngularJS being used together with traditional CMSs.
