Please Welcome Author, Margery Scott
Welcome Margery, please tell us about yourself and your latest project.
Although I was born across the pond in a small town on the Scottish borders, I now live in Canada on a lake with my husband of a kazillionyears. I spent almost my whole working life in the medical field, and didn’t even think about writing until after my children were gone and I stopped working. When I did start, it seemed natural to write the genre I’d loved since I started reading romance – western historicals. I have s...

Roslyn Sets the Record Straight*
Can you believe it? Joe actually thinks we should be grateful to author Rue Allyn for helping us get together. I know better. Ms. Allyn is the one who should be thanking us for providing a terrific story for her to tell. All she did was write down what I told her to write. Even that stuff about Odette came from me. Odette Miller persecuted me from the time I moved to Bird’s Gap until I left for college. So I know that woman better than anyone. Well, anyone except that guy she’s been sleeping...

Pleae let us know how you liked it. (Honest, Ros is the one who’s really worried.) You can get just about any format you want andthe best deal at Ms. Allyn’s publisher, Red Sage Publishing.

Joe Hazard Takes Over
From now until my characters run out of things to say (hopefully a very long time) I’ll be turning this blog over to them every Sunday and Wednesday. Because his book will release on July 1st (that would be tomorrow) I’ve given Joe Hazard the opportunity to open this feature. Friends, please welcome Joe Hazard.
Hi folks. I have a lot to thank Ms. Rue Allyn for. Without her help, I would never have gotten together with Roslyn Duncan. Ros is the love of my life, altho...

Hi Patti, Nancy. Thank you very much for dropping. Authorial Voice and Style
A fellow author asked recently what the difference is between voice and style–a questions many authors (and readers) struggle with.I use music [specifically vocal music] to distinguish between ‘Voice’ and ‘Style’.
Voice is a unique and recognizable combination of tone, pitch, timber and resonance. [I’m certain musicians have a more technical definition.] For example, if you think of the song “The First Time, Ever I Saw Your Face” as sung by both Roberta Flack and Celine Dion the voices are ab...

Celebrate the release of Shay Lacy’s ~ Sacrificed to Ecstasy
Virgin sacrifice. Those words make you envision a woman chained and screaming, a horrible monster, a painful death. But what if that sacrifice was to the sexiest man alive, a virile god of fertility, one who made your body throb with want? What if that man looked like the man on the cover?
Would it really be a sacrifice with him? My heroine, Rayan, will learn that what she gives up to Vashon is nothing compared to the pleasure she reaps in return.
Multi-published author Sh...
