Adding Fun to Your Sex Life
Today, please welcome Author Anita Philmar. Anita has some very interesting insights to share. Please leave her a comment and let her know what you think. Here’s Anita.
The process of making love in the same old way can get boring. Admit it and your half way there to curing the problem. Finding time, opportunity, and energy might also add to the problem. After all, who can make a grand production every time you want to jump between the sheets?
The single most important way to alleviate the prob...

Dealing With Conflict
Please welcome author Patricia Kiyono.
Thank you, Rue, for giving me the opportunity to meet your readers! I’m from the west side of the Mitten state, close to Lake Michigan. I’ve lived all but five years of my life here (my parents and I moved here from Japan when I was one, and I spent four years in Illinois getting my undergraduate degree) so I can’t imagine living anywhere else. My husband and I have five children, nine grandchildren and will soon celebrate the arrival of our first great-g...
A Teaser Tuesday
I haven’t done this for a while, so I thought it might be fun to grab a few snippets from some novels and let you guess which quotes come from which books. The quotes given below are (in no particular order) from Off limits, A True and Perfect Knight, and One Day’s Loving. The excerpts on my websitemight (or might not) provide clues, or you may use the blurbs below to guide you. Since there’s no prize attached, there’s no pressure. Do your best. Leave a comment to tell me why you make the mat...

Honoring the Heroes
Over the past several years offering free or heavily discounted meals and merchandise to veterans & active duty personnel has become popular, especially on Veterans Day. I for one am glad to see it. I served, but was never under fire. I understand the complex feelings of my brothers and sisters in arms. However, I will never be able to completely empathize with those who’ve come under fire in the service of their country. I salute you.
Today my husband (also a USNavy veteran)and I shared a del...

When the Attitude is Gratitude

Source: http://bubleblue-sploosh.blogspot.com/2011/05/heart-of-gratitude.html
So, I’m participating in #30DaysOfThanks and re-discovering how truly full and blessed my life is. I won’t go into the long list of things (way more than 30) for which I am grateful, that’s what the thirty days is for, and I’m doing that over on my FB page. What I want to discuss here is what happens in life when your attitude is gratitude. I can point to three things that happened almost immediately when I started t...

Why Can’t We Just Sit and Talk?
The problem with social media is that it isn’t social. At least that’s been my experience. “Social” activities, for me, involve an immediate give and take, this is possible because all the people involved are in the same place, sitting, standing, drinking, eating, playing games or participating in sports. Regardless of the actual activity, it is social because you can see, hear, smell, touch (even taste if the occasion warrants) everyone who’s there.
I have yet to have any sensory experience o...

Deal Breakers
This week I’m celebrating the world wide release of my contemporary romance Deal of a Lifetime. Because the book involves two former lovers, now high-powered business owners, who are competing for the same contracts wheeling and dealing is central to the book. Over the course of the story we discover what makes the deal (relationship) attractive to both hero and heroine. So I thought it might be fun to take a look at some of the deal breakers that keep the couple apart before love can triumph...
