My thoughts for the day, Friday the 13th

I wanted to take the opportunity to wish my father a Happy Birthday and Friday the 13th. Love you, Daddy~
My thought for the day~Many people today will avoid black cats, walking under ladders, opening an umbrella inside of the house and holding mirrors for fear of dropping and breaking it and therefore unleashing 7 years of bad luck.


My thought is that you create your own path and luck-old superstitions are great folklore, however holding a rabbits foot is not going to help you win the lottery people!


So, my advice is to get out there and enjoy yet another beautiful Friday!! Margarita......

My thoughts for the day~

Make sure you take those extra moments on a daily basis to tell those special people in your life how much they mean to you, that you love them. Witness the beauty all around you and do something for someone out of the goodness in your heart and not because your hoping for something in return. ~K

I have been asked to give my friends a Public Service Announcement. So, I am obliging this request. If you are NOT on fire, in threat of being eaten by zombies, have a gnarly Wulven's breath on your face or a Vampire's fangs ready to puncture your neck...DO NOT CALL me before caffeine o'clock!!! Your health, well being and very life depends on this!!! For some that I have known, this was a very  real affliction. Sadly they no longer exist to tell you their stories. Why, you ask? Well, because this is MY story and I wrote them out of it*Smile brightly and innocently* Now, I'm off to grab a cup of that wonderful, as my friend Gracen Miller calls it, "Nectar of the Gods" and begin my writing day! My Review of Reclaimed by Kim Faulks

My Review:

4 Triple Goddess Moons
Reclaimed is the first book that I have read by Kim Faulks. I usually don't read Erotica in any form, paranormal or otherwise. I met the author online via a really close friend of mine who spoke very highly of Kim's writing. We spoke briefly and exchanged books to review for each other. There was a very natural connection, almost a kinship between us-even though she is Australia and I am in the US. Normally, this is not something that I do. It's hard enough finding time to read just for fun, so to review for another author is almost impossible, but I made the exception and boy-howdy am I glad that I did! Kim's writing style is very fluid and her characters are 3 dimensional and solid. Great Job Kim!  

My Review- Every Man Wants Her by Madison Montgomery

She knows other women want her life and men just plain want her, but she'll have to play her game carefully to get everything she wants ...

Virginia Templeton can turn heads in any room, and get the attention of any man she wants. She's married to a rich, powerful businessman, but she wants a divorce. She wants financial freedom, but there are conditions...

She owns a luxurious condo building, complete with a dashing man to enjoy on the side, but he wants another woman...

My Review: 5 Triple Goddess MoonsI've never really taken to romance stories unless there was a 'paranormal' element to it. With that being said, I was given an ecopy of this short story and fell in love with it IMMEDIATELY! I love the writer's style. The characters were so well developed that I loved and hated them for different reasons. I found myself relating to and cussing out the characters. That's when you know that you have an amazing story! My only complaint was that it was a shorty, I want more! I am seriously excited for book 2 and because of Every Man Wants Her, am going to start checking out more adult romance books! Bravo to the author!!

Happy 4th of July to all of my fellow Americans where ever you may be today. 
I am very much a proud American, but I'm even MORE proud of MOST of my fellow Americans - The soldiers, men and woman who sacrifice everything for me, you...all of us. Those are the real heroes of our planet. I know some of you will read this and take it the wrong way, but others will understand what I am honestly saying. I am proud of them because they are laying THEIR lives on the line each and every day so that my 10 year old is safe. So it's with them I send my thoughts and prayers this Independence Day.
Thank you for your service and sacrifice...
All gave some, but some gave all...
