My thought for the day

My thought for today is actually about myself, however I send this out to all of you as well. I will take a moment today to appreciate all that I do and am. I have had a severe problem in the past with devaluing my self worth. The people that I include in my "little world" always try to have me see in myself what they see in me. Today, I will do this...Have a great Wednesday! ~Kymberlee xoxo

My thought for the day ~ 7-18-2012

Allow your "inner" animal to come out and play every once in a while. Some of us would be shocked at the identity of the creature that rests inside~  After a few issues my husband called me a Phoenix, and now...I agree! ~ Kymberlee xoxo

My thought for the day - 7/17/2012

Each of us possess unique physical characteristics that make it possible to distinguish each other in a crowd. However, it's the qualities that are found on the inside - our beliefs, morality, loyalty, compassion, friendship and love that make us who we are. Stay true unto yourself and you will always be an original beauty. ~Kymberlee xoxo

My thought for the day ~ July 16, 2012

On a daily basis and in the face of adversity show YOURSELF and NOT others exactly what you are made of.  There will always be someone just around the next bend to try to knock you down - especially as each passing day brings the success that you have worked so hard to achieve. Don't let them! Each new dawn brings new possibilities, hopes, dreams and beauty. This is a personal lesson that I have learned the hard way recently. ~Kymberlee

Monkey's review of Explorer X-Alpha by Lm Preston

Here on my blog, we have a special feature once a month called Monkey's Review. My 10 year old son reads and reviews! This month he read;
Explorer X-Alpha by Lm Preston
For most kids, a trip to space camp is a trip of a lifetime, for Aadi it was life altering. After receiving a camp immunization needed for travel to Mars, Aadi finds that the immunization is the catalyst of an insidious experiment. Lucky for him, he was engineered to survive, thrive, and dominate. Without realizing he is being trained to conquer worlds, and manipulated under the guise of a camp, he unfolds the plot too late for a change of fate. Aadi's world is shaken upon the revelation that life before camp was not what it appeared. This solidifies his plan to save them all from the company that seeks to control him, only for his rescue to end abruptly due to a freak accident on a field trip to Mars. The full experiment is set in motion when he and his co-pilot, Eirena, crash in a distant galaxy called Shrenas, where they change and realize the full extent of their power. Holding onto his humanity, in the midst of turning into a god is Aadi's biggest battle yet. This turn of events causes him to put his childish thoughts away, forcing him to accept his change, and to decide to save a world, or to do what he was trained to do, dominate it. In the midst his struggles with his changes, his power is coveted by the warring leaders of Shrenas, and he is forced to choose sides to save a life, or to save himself. A decision that may prove just how much humanity he has left.
Monkey's Review 5 BananasI really liked feeling like I was on the trip to space camp with Aadi. There is a lot of action in this book and Miss. Preston is a great writer. She is one of my favorites. If you like lots of action and characters that become your friends than you will love this book

This collection of stories includes, witches, monsters and even cannibals! You will find yourself wildly entertained with the stories created by JH Glaze in response to suggestions from his readers.

Since The Horros Challenge stories are all suggested by reader input, this series in unlike any other ever created.
My Review: 5 Moons
Bloody Mary, JH Glaze has done it again! I have read everything that this author has written up until this point, and let me just say; In my opinion JH Glaze is the new king of horror! I was completely impressed with this innovative and fresh concept for a horror book. The stories are unique, the characters totally believable. I really hope that there is a third installment of The Horror Challenge, I'm HOOKED!
