Tewkesbury Primary
It was an absolute pleasure to return to Tewkesbury Primary today. I first visited last November, and had the honour of joining the headteacher in officially reopening the library at the end of the day (after it had sadly been destroyed by torrential rain a couple of months earlier).
Kingswinford Academy
After WARNING: Magic Can Be Dangerous! won the Children’s Award at the Dudley Children’s Book Awards earlier this year, I reached out to the schools that attended the awards ceremony to see if any of them would like a FREE school visit. Which is how I found myself heading off towards Kingswinford Academy this morning for my very first secondary school visit.
Aspiring Author Layla’s Story
During one of her recent school visits, B. Ware was fortunate enough to meet Layla... an aspiring author. Layla loves nothing more than writing stories in her free time and turning them into books of her own.

Ward End Library
B. Ware's final library visit this summer will be to Ward End Library. She'll be there from 2pm until 4.30pm on Thursday 28th August (after spending the morning at Shard End Library).
Shard End Library
Bringing an end to B. Ware's run of library visits this summer, she'll be at Shard End Library from 10am until 12.30pm on Thursday 28th August (and then at Ward End Library that afternoon from 2pm until 4.30pm).
Harborne Library
On Wednesday 27th August, B. Ware will be spending the day at Harborne Library. She'll be there in the morning from 10am until 1pm. Then she'll be back (once the library reopens after lunch) from 2pm until 4.30pm
St John’s Library
B. Ware will be at St John's Library on Tuesday 26th August from 10am until 1pm. She'll be hosting activities suitable for children aged 4-12, reading excerpts from her books (WARNING: May Contain Dragons and WARNING: Magic Can Be Dangerous!), and handing out free stickers and bookmarks!
Handsworth Library
On Saturday 23rd August, B. Ware will be hosting two interactive activity sessions at Handsworth Library. The first session will run from 11am until 1pm, and the second session will run from 2pm until 4pm.
Williton Library
If you miss B. Ware at Porlock Library or Minehead Library on Friday August 22nd, then you'll still have a chance to catch her at Williton Library. She'll be ending the day there, from 2.30pm until 4.30pm.
Minehead Library
B. Ware's second library visit on Friday 22nd August will be to Minehead Library. She'll be there from 12pm until 2pm, introducing children and parents to the Words of WARNING collection, hosting children's activities, and handing out free stickers and bookmarks.
