Tower Hill Library
After spending a fabulous morning at Birchfield Library, I made the short drive to Tower Hill Library for my afternoon event. It was lovely to encounter more children eager to get stuck into some activities… including Keyaan and Parisa who’d come straight from attending my morning session!

Birchfield Library
This morning’s event was at Birchfield Library — a small (but mighty!) community-focussed library in Birmingham. I arrived there to see its shelves stacked full, its noticeboards brimming with up-to-date news, and its friendly staff busy helping patrons.

Burnham-on-Sea Library
I had a brilliant time at Burnham-on-Sea Library with the children who attended my activity session this afternoon. After a busy morning at Bridgwater Library, it was great to have a slightly quieter afternoon, allowing me to spend more one-on-one time with each child.

Future Author Oaklee’s Story
B. Ware was in for a treat when she visited Bridgwater Library on 5th August and met young Oaklee. Not only had he already read one of her books from cover to cover in the run-up to her event, but he also took his story book along on the day to show her.

Bridgwater Library
I had a wonderful time hosting a children’s event at Bridgwater Library this morning. Sharon and the team had really got the word out about my visit, and lots of parents and children came along to join in with the activities.

I’ve been so busy with library and bookshop events lately that I haven’t had a chance to write any of them up until now!!! My first library visit this summer was to Bicester Library, on 2nd August.

Chalford Hill Primary
My final school visit this term was to Chalford Hill Primary, a school I last visited with WARNING: Magic Can Be Dangerous! just four months ago. And it was great to be back again so soon. The pupils were eager to hear all about WARNING: May Contain Dragons... and excited to find out that book 3 (about a crazy grandma) is in the making!

Stratton Primary
Today was the first time I’ve visited Stratton Primary School… but I hope it won’t be the last! The pupils were bubbling over with excitement during my morning assembly, and eager to join in by asking and answering questions throughout. In fact, I think they were my best audience yet, so it was a shame when the assembly had to come to an end!!!

Oak Hill Primary
I was excited to return to Oak Hill Primary today, after first visiting last June. There are only around 50 pupils at this small village school, but it was a joy to spend time with each and every one of them once again.
