Porlock Community Library

My first of three library visits today was to Porlock Community Library. I was given a fantastic area to set up in, filled with plenty of tables and chairs. But sadly, given the early start, we only ended up with four children attending the session. Fortunately, they were all full of beans and eager to get stuck into some creative activities.

Stirchley Library

This afternoon, I visited another small neighbourhood library, Stirchley Library. Despite it not being as large as some of the libraries I’ve visited recently, there’s a super spacious children’s section there.

Mere Green Library

This morning, I hosted an event at Mere Green Library. Heather and the team had done a brilliant job of getting the word out about my visit, and we had children and their parents (and grandparents) continuing to arrive throughout the session right up until the very end.

Carterton Library

On Tuesday 28th October, B. Ware will be at Carterton Library from 10am until 12pm. So, drop in with your children at any time to join in with the FREE activities she'll be hosting, to find out more about her books, or to pick up a free sticker and bookmark.

Malvern Library

Today, I hosted three back-to-back children’s activity sessions at Malvern Library. And I must admit, I was a little worried we’d overcooked the goose, and wouldn’t have enough attendees to fill three separate sessions.

Waterstones Gloucester

B. Ware had a brilliant birthday at Waterstones Gloucester, introducing readers to the first two books in the Words of WARNING collection and doling out free stickers and bookmarks. She was even treated to a delicious cake and a cappuccino whilst she was there!

Hartmanns Books

B. Ware had a wonderful time at Hartmanns Books in Portishead this summer, handing out free stickers and bookmarks, selling signed copies of her books, and rehoming dragons.

Chard Library

My activity session at Chard Library this afternoon was a quiet affair, but I still had great fun with the handful of children I was lucky enough to spend time with.

Crewkerne Library

Today’s visit was to Crewkerne Library, where I took over the whole of the mezzanine floor! With children and their parents continuing to arrive from the moment I’d set up right up until it was time for me to leave, the session was over in a flash.

Keyaan & Parisa

During my event at Birchfield Library today, I had the pleasure of meeting Keyaan and Parisa. At just nine years old, Keyaan already has two published children’s books under his belt… and plans to publish many more.
