Throwback: publishing before email(!)

For some time I’ve been concentrating on my other genre projects and keeping my own “brand” (heh) on pause. I’ve been thinking for a bit on how to restart things, and then I fell on the idea of a short story I had in the back burner. World Cup Hook Up was originally published on Wattpad, and re-reading it one day, I thought it was cute and worth trying to get non-Wattpad readers to see it.

So I added it on Amazon ...

2015 is the year for re-reading

I haven't been reading new books lately.
For some reason, I just don't have the energy to start up with a new writer, fall in love with a story, learn all its quirks and commit to it. Yes, I treat books like I treat relationships. I expend the same sort of mental energy on both, I think!

Since the start of the year, I've re-read the Harry Potter series, The Shining, Anansi Boys, Sandman 1-9, and now, the Sookie Stackhouse novels.

I have my rereading spells but this is the first time it's gone on for 8 straight months.
