Ah Jesse's on the road! And I bet I know where he's going!
I'm having a blast hearing where my boys and girls are visiting! So keep the pictures coming :D
Now, my dear friend and fellow moto mom sent this pic and the description was "Jesse is going on a road trip!" I have a few theories, but I am going to put my money on the fact he's headed to a track in OK so he can help give some pointers since there is a Loretta Lynn's qualifier coming up soon! :D

My very first location pic! 1-31-2013
I am so excited! Within just a couple of hours I already had a location pic! And apparently Carter had a great time, he's said he can't wait to go back to visit Katie Mettner again! They stopped in the heart of the north rodeo in SPOONER, WISCONSIN! Thanks Love, for being such a gracious host. I know Molly fell in love with you and said you had her constantly laughing!

Racing to Love is going to Travel the World! Added Email addy! oops!
I've seen this done with other items, but a while back husb said we should do it with my gang! It's taken me a while to process how to do this because as you all know by now, I'm completely computer --stupid-- for lack of a better word!
I posted this on my FB author page as well and we're going to see if it works better there or here. FB author page ...
I'd love to get an idea of all the fun and exciting places my crazy gang travels to. So snap a quick picture of any or all of my covers.... So far we have Carter's Treasure Jesse's Soul & Brody's Love out. Eli's Honor will release at the beginning of July, 2013 and Alex's Destiny will follow in the beginning of December 2013.
You don't have to be in the shot if you're not comfortable, that is up to you. But let me know where you're at. I don't care if you just list the city, state or country, but I'm sure Molly, Erin and Emery have seen more sunny destinations than I have lately.
Maybe a rollercoaster in Disney, a sunny beach in Hawaii or Australia, a gorgeous park in New York or in a cottage in Ireland..... I don't care,,, I'm just anxious to see. I know I've have had readers contact me from at least six countries, which still floors me and when I'm out of my "purple" cast (sorry inside joke regarding fellow author Katie Mettner and some pain pills that sent me heading toward the funny farm!).. But there are places we want to travel to so bad. This way maybe I'll get to see some of those destinations.
Thank you in advance for playing along... And no, this isn't a contest as far as distance per say. But if you include your address when you email me, then once a month I'll put the entries in a bowl and randomly pick a name out. I'm building some swag up so the name of the month will receive some signed bookmarks, etc. Little stuff for now, but maybe someday I'll be able to add in some bigger items like mugs, shirts etc.
Oh and let me add...... If you send in a picture from one place, it's still fine to keep sending them if you travel other places. There aren't any "rules", just all fun. :D <3

I'm so excited, thanks again and get snapping!

Sexy Snippet! 1-27-13
My first ever Sexy Snippet!!! 1-27-13
#SEXYSNIPPETS - Racing to Love - Jesse's Soul
When you're done, hop on back over to The Nuthouse Scribblers for more wonderfully sexy snippets from my fellow participating authors! Sexy Snippets Site
I'm going to start off with my newest release. Jesse's Soul is book two in the Racing to Love series.
I'll give you the synopsis this week so you're not completely blank on what's going on!
Jesse Frost lived the life most men would kill for. Fast bikes, fame, money and good looks. However, he wasn’t a man that gave as much thought to that as most. Jesse was just an easy-going guy from a small speck of a town in Texas, a guy that worked hard for everything he had achieved in life. When everything else seemed to go his way, it was women that left him disheartened, and finding the right one always seemed to be just out of his grasp. After a run-in with his high-school crush left him even more confused and emptier than ever before, he had decided he would never find the type of love his best friend Carter had with Molly.Emery Kincaid had a last name that was revered in their world. Born into a world of gas, grease and speed, she was a woman in a man’s world, but she grew up more comfortable with a wrench in her hand than a doll. Irish through and through, she has the temper and sass to boot, and a reputation that precedes her. Determined to carry-on her family’s legacy, despite the chromosomes she was born with, she works harder than any man she’s come across and never backs down. However, things aren’t always what they seem. Emery had remained strong because she’s had no other choice, but the pain she masks runs deep and hiding it is the only way she can survive.Thrown together by circumstance, and forced to be in each other’s space day in and day out, sparks start to fly—from chemistry and the brakes Emery desperately tries to throw on. Without a doubt in his mind, Jesse knows he has finally found her, but the girl that stole his heart has a stubborn streak a country mile wide. What Emery doesn’t realize about Jesse is that he’s a competitive guy, by nature and by profession, and he has no intentions of letting her slip through his fingers. Not when she is the first woman to understand him, to appreciate his dedication to his career and well, the fact that she’s beautiful is just the icing on the cake in his mind. It is what Jesse doesn’t know that could break his gentle heart. Hiding her true feelings for him is the only way for Emery to protect him, and in turn—herself. She barely made it out the first time. If she lets Jesse in and he walked away well, that’s a risk her heart can’t take.
So here's my SEXY SNIPPET for you this week!
Emery glanced up at him and saw him smiling like a foolish schoolboy at her, and she couldn’t help but grin back. The future was vivid in her mind, ending in a huge, flaming fireball, the crash killing them both. But like a train wreck, she was finding it harder and harder to look away. “We’ll talk after the race tomorrow night. You may not feel the same way.”“You don’t scare me. I’m not going anywhere.”
Hope you enjoyed, the buy link for Jesse's Soul, and Carter's Treasure are just the right, along with the free link to Brody's Love which is a free novella in the Racing to Love series. Also...above you'll see tabs for Saving Molly. It's the backstory to the whole series! Have a great week, it was nice to meet you all!Hugs,A

So here we go... And one final thank you to those wonderful women who started SSS, it's been a blast and I've enjoyed it tremendously! When you're done reading my work, please hop back over to Six Sunday to read all my other fellow participating authors! I wish you all the best and have a great Sunday!!!!!!!!!

A palm came to her cheek, taking control and tilting her head for more. The sound of her pulse rushed in her ears, a sprinkling of tingles swept across her body from her cheeks, down her arms, clear down her legs. Pulses felt in places she’d long ago forgotten about, needs she’d tucked away years ago came barreling to the surface. She ran her fingers up his chest and around his neck, pressing herself into him. Lost in all the wants she’d denied, Honor kissed him back, her tongue touching his, his breath combined with hers, a soft moan rumbled, but she wasn’t sure if it came from her or him. His mouth left hers but only to make its way across her jaw and to the sensitive skin of her neck. A high-pitched sound of approval escaped her, urging him to take more, to make her his. The shrill ring of her cell lying on the kitchen counter sent her out of her skin. Both of them breathing hard, Eli broke contact and reached behind him, handing her the cell. Seemingly careful to not let completely go of her.Dallas.Oh…my…God. “Shit…shit. What the hell, Eli?” She put a palm against his chest for space, but he didn’t budge. What had she done? Staring in pure panic at Eli, she pulled in a breath consciously trying to slow her breathing, trying to sound normal so she could answer the phone. “Hi, hon.” She answered, the pitch in her voice higher…like guilt does to a person.“I’m ready to be picked up.”“Okay, be right there. Bye.”“Thanks, Mom. Bye.”With the call ended, Eli took the phone back out of her shaking hand and placed back on the counter behind him. Before she could make a move, he closed his arms around her again. His grip tightening. “Eli…” She tilted her head, ashamed, confused, and still breathing hard. Her body betraying her. “No. Don’t you dare, Honor. Don’t you take that moment back…don’t. You felt it, I know you did.”“But I can’t. I shouldn’t, I…I don’t know what I did, I’m so sorry.”“No, no apologizing for that. Like I said, you’ve been seemingly oblivious to my signals so far. Signals that I thought were downright blaring. Now…I’d have to say you aren’t as unaffected as you’d like to be—““Eli.”“No, don’t Elime. Don’t give me a hundred and one excuses. Don’t hide behind Dallas. I can feel it, Honor, and I can see it in your eyes.” He held a hand to her still rapidly beating heart. The touch sent her pulse back to speeding. “See, your body shows me the truth, so don’t let your head try to tell me otherwise. I’ll run to Jess’s and pick up Dallas—““But—“His chin came up, halting her argument and daring her to continue.“When I get back, we’ll enjoy that amazing smelling dinner you have spent the last two hours making. After Dallas goes to bed, we’ll talk.”

Six Sentence Sunday 1-20-13
Six Sentence Sunday 1-20-13
I have to apologize for being absent much of the last couple of weeks. And I'll share a little lesson learned when it comes to doctors and surgery... Um, ignoring things does not make them go away! I have a very weak stomach and when it comes to any kind of surgery, I had always preferred to just "show up" and not really think about what was to come until I woke in recovery. Not a great strategy to live by. Color me stupid, I know. It won't happen again, believe me! The results - what I thought was a minor fix for my bum ankle was actually plates, screws and a hell of a lot of freaking pain! Oh, and that 'take it easy for a few days'... not so much! More like 'no weight bearing for 3 months'. THREE months! Are they kidding me? Do they not have a clue as to how much I need to do each day, week - MONTH!
I..yai...yai!
Well...I learned my lesson the hard way, and I hope I've shed a little light into my recent absence from cyber world. In the meantime, as I get to feeling better and better, my plan is to write. Write, then write some more! I am in the middle of Alex's Destiny which is the fourth and final book in the Racing to Love series. As well as, I'm a fourth done with the first book in the new series! *fanning myself*... I love my Mike! He's one hot ass cop, let me tell ya!
So with today and next Sunday being the last two opportunities to put up six sentences, I'll keep plugging along with book #3, Eli's Honor. He'll hit bookshelves this July, but I couldn't wait for you to meet my 'former life of the party-turned strong silent type' hero and the woman that is going to bring him back into the light. When you're done...click back over to SIX SUNDAY to check out more great snippets - before it's too late!
Have a great weekend.
Hugs,
A
“But—“
“I’m going to kiss you now. Please, Honor—don’t stop me.” His plea said almost touching her.His lips hovered over hers, barely there, but his presence undeniable. At first touch, her eyes slowly closed of their own free will. That must have been the answer he’d been waiting for.
Eli pressed on, his mouth firm but gentle. Fire shot through her, every place he touched was scorched, the rest of her pulled under his spell. Honor lost all consciousness of time, the seconds turning into minutes as his lips parted urging hers to do the same, his tongue seeking hers.

Six Sentence Sundy 1-13-13
Hi everyone, I'm so glad you're back for another look into book#3 of the Racing to Love series...
Eli's Honor
I can't believe how fast time is flying by! And I'm so sad to think that there are only two more SSS after this! I have really enjoyed getting to know a lot of you! Please, when you're done checking out my man, head back over to the Six Sentence Sunday site for many more amazing stories!
So you have gotten a glimpse into Honor's thoughts on Eli, and the same for Eli regarding Honor. Well the week before in the book Eli had flown down to Tennessee to see her son, Dallas, and ask some questions of them both before their final acceptance into the Noland Racing Academy. Now it was Honor's turn to fly to Pennsylvania to check the school out and listen to the rest of the proposal they're offering to Dallas.
Her plane just landed and passengers are spilling out of it....
Unfortunately for Eli, his wasn’t the only head that had turned. He watched as the man behind her tried several times to strike up a conversation just in the short time it took to walk up the jet way. Eli chuckled to himself watching her politely nod then ignore the man again and again, getting more visibly frustrated with each passing moment.
Always one to help a lady out, Eli swooped in.
As she walked out of the secured area with the stranger still on her heels, Eli snaked his arm around her waist, pulled her close and kissed her cheek. “Hi, honey. I’ve missed you so much. I’m so glad you’re home.” His voice was loud enough for the eavesdropper and laced with the promise of welcome home sex.
I can't believe how fast time is flying by! And I'm so sad to think that there are only two more SSS after this! I have really enjoyed getting to know a lot of you! Please, when you're done checking out my man, head back over to the Six Sentence Sunday site for many more amazing stories!

NEW RELEASE! - Jennah Scott
I have to say one of the wonderful perks to becoming an author is all the fabulous people I've met along the way. Readers, Bloggers, Authors, Publishers, Editors...and the so many other hats that people wear. I'm always excited to help 'pay it forward' for all the help I've received along the way, and so today I'm so pleased to announce a brand new release - Making His Mark - from Jennah Scott! Congrats to you my dear! Wishing you all the success in the world!MAKING HIS MARK blurb:
Alexis Catori is ready to let go of her past and move forward with her future. She wants a permanent reminder of this step in the form of a tattoo. Unfortunately, the best artist she knows is also the guy she’d rather sucker punch than be friends with, Bo Nantan.
Bo Nantan loves tattooing. It gives him everything he’s dreamed of having: freedom, friends, and the chance to draw. That should be enough to make him happy, but one woman’s been invading histhoughts since an unplanned kiss after a bet he shouldn't have made. Too bad Alexis Catori is his own personal definition of frenemy.
With Bo's prompt refusal to do her tattoo, a storm of emotion erupts between them. It doesn't take long to admit the attraction they both feel. But when her past returns, Alexis doubts her ability to move on as planned.
Will her past become her future? Or will Alexis and Bo figure out that the move they both need to make is to quit fighting and admit they both want more?

First Chapter Excerpt:
This is part of the opening scene, when we first meet Bo.
“Who’s analyzing what?”Bo chimed as he walked through Matt’s door. It was Thursday, the one day of the week everyone left life at the door for a night to relax. Holy hell. Alexis had her legs stretched out, her feet rested on the coffee table. She wore jean shorts that showed off her long, golden brown legs. No girl should be able to taunt him the way she did, especially since they didn’t even get along. The tight purple t-shirt she wore rode up to show an inch of smooth stomach. Bo licked his lips in an attempt to wipe away the desire pumping through his veins. “Oh goody, Slut Boy has arrived. We can stop the Dr. Phil show and start the fun. Nice of you to show up half an hour late rather than a full hour.” Alexis didn’t turn to him. Instead she focused on the forty-three inch plasma TV at the front of the room. “You know what they say about teasing someone, right?” Bo asked.“Don’t care, but you’re going to tell us anyway aren’t you?”“The harder you tease, the more you like them.”“Yep that’s it. Oh Bo,” she started in a sing-song voice, “ I love you so much. You’re all I ever think about. Please, please let me kiss your feet.”Bo climbed over Matt’s legs then fell down on top of her. She tensed beneath him, her hands propped against his shoulders. He ignored her attempt to shove him away and leaned his head back next to her ear. “Ask nicely and I’ll let you kiss more than my feet.”“Ugh. You disgust me. Get off, before I kiss your balls with my knee.”With a chuckle, he flipped to her side and got comfortable. Alexis had a killer body, one he’d wanted from the day she joined their little group. She could hardly stand to be in the same room with him though, at least that’s the way he felt.

What to do when attacked by enchiladas!
My oh my... Well how do I start? I yai..yai..the sauces have attacked!
We have a very dear family that have been friends of our for years. Their children are so accomplished...I can't even begin to explain! Well our middle wants to be a chef, a pastry chef to be exact. Our friends' eldest daughter is in NY at the CIA as we speak. This last weekend our daughter had another culinary class (we are soooo lucky to live close to an amazing culinary school that provides classes for even kids. True classes. We're not talking grilled cheese honey! We're talking full blown menu items. Beef Bourguignon, hollindaise sauce and all these other things I can't freaking spell! LOL...) Well this last weekend was chicken enchiladas and several other dishes. Except that my daughter's WHITE coat looks like she was on the loosing end of a battle with the sauce!
Well, I got a little tidbit from our friend....what do you wash your dishes with? Well that same dish soap is what they use to get their whites back to sparkling! We'll see, my daughter's chef's coat is in my kitchen sink soaking in Dawn! I'll keep you posted!
