Ask, expect, receive...
There are three key ingredients to manifesting (or creating) the life you want on the path you choose.
First you have to ask for what you want. This may seem simple, and of course it is; however, there are a couple of little pit falls. You have to know your own heart and know that what you "want" is truly what you WANT, if you know what I mean? This is a heart driven action, a moment where you put your brain aside and let your heart lead you to the situations, things and people you really desire, rather than what you think you "should" have. These are two totally different things. The second thing that it is important to consider is that the "things" you want are things that create love and joy. Asking for things, people and situations that will hurt others is only going top cause harm, and mostly to you. Definitely a case of "be careful what you wish for."
The second, and I think the most important, aspect of creating your divine reality, is expecting that you will get it. Have courage and confidence; remember you have an entire divine team ready to back you up and to help you to achieve your goals. When your intentions come from love, and you focus your will, the the entire universe will organise things to the way you desire. Expect that it will happen!
Then open your heart to receiving! This is the one some people (actually a lot of people) get stuck on. There is nothing wrong with expecting and receiving things for yourself. When you are happy and joyful and full of love, then you will add tremendous energy to the world. That is exactly what the world needs...love and positive energy, so go for it! You are not only worthy, but totally deserving of every happiness your heart can imagine, so give your heart free reign and receive all the goodness and joy that are your birth right.

If nothing changes
Have you ever heard that saying, "If nothing changes...then nothing changes." ? Another way I have heard the same thing said is, "If you always do what you've always done, then you will always get what you have always got." It all amounts to the same thing though...it comes back to the fact that we have a choice about everything, and if we keep making the same choices, and never take a chance on making a different one, then the outcomes will be the same.
I have made many, many, many different choices in the last few years. I have taken a different road every time, I have jumped in with both feet, I have decided to choose forgiveness over bitterness and anger...so many things that I have chosen "differently' for in the last few years, and yet, I find today that there are some actions that I keep repeating.
For me, this has highlighted that while I have made the changes in small gradual steps in order to change my life and still be within a certain measure of comfort, there comes a time (which for me is now *smile) where for MAJOR difference, a MAJOR change in choices is required.
Time for a life review then...smile.
So I am looking today at all the things I love and cherish and all of the things that I am not all that fond of in my current life, and how I would see that changed to better suit my current needs. I have looked at all aspects with honesty and purity and set my intentions for a future I am constantly manifesting, but which has not yet come to fruition (well not fast enough for my liking anyway *wry grin*)
All this is well and good for the moment I am sitting in my sacred space, surrounded by pure love energy, not impacted upon by any other being except in a positive and loving way...but very soon, I will make the choice to leave this space, and once again enter a reality where other's are involved...what then?
So here;s how I am deciding to deal with that...
I have asked my team to back me up, reinforce my words and give me a REALLY STRONG (because I can be a bit stubborn) impulse to follow the new path I have chosen, rather than following in the deeply grooved path of habit. I have written little signs to go in key places that remind me of the choice I have made and my intention to do what is right for me within this new choice. Finally, I have told all of my trusted friends of my new choice and willingly given them permission to call me up and check on my progress, as well as give me a firm, human nudge (*giggle*) if I falter in my resolve or find myself loosing focus on my intentions. I have also told my brain to "stay out of it" since it's a bit lazy and would rather continuing to do what it has always done.
Love yourself, choose your path, set your intentions, call for back up from the divine, the stride forward with your head high!

Destiny
I heard a saying today, and of all places it came from a children's movie I was watching with my 4 year old light worker. It said, "Destiny is not the path that is given/laid down for you. Destiny is the path you choose for yourself."
This has been circling around and around inside my head all day off and on. I have thought about it a little, and I have come to the conclusion that this is actually the case. Think about it a moment. We are all gifted with free will, the ability to choose our actions, our path our way of being. If all things were predetermined; if we had a set path/road to travel, why would we require free will?
I think, before we arrive here, we make a decision about the things we will achieve, our life's purpose if you will, however (and this is the key part) we get to choose how we get there. Often when I am teaching higher level maths, I will explain 3-4 ways to get to a solution to any particular problem. My students have quite often complained that it would be easier if I just gave them one option of working out the solution, and perhaps it would be. What they are yet to come to understand though, is that I am not teaching them how to solve a single type of maths problem, what they are actually gaining are the skills of logical progression, problem solving, higher order thinking and trust and faith in their own ability to find a solution. They do not understand the value of these skills yet since they have had limited opportunities to use them in a real world context, imagine though if I offered them only one solution and one outcome for each type of problem? Their ability would be extremely narrow even if they were always successful in answering this ONE type of problem.
So the gift we are given, along with our free will, is the ability to learn multiple pathways to the same outcome, with MANY variables and different approaches to coming to the same conclusion. This is a marvelous opportunity for growth and understanding.
So while we may have a life's purpose, a reason, a passion and a goal to which we are working, we can get there in any way we choose! Yahoo.....the pressure is off, surprise and anticipation are paramount and there is no trap in feeling like we have no choice as to the direction our life is taking...a great escape.
Letting go of the idea that our lives are predetermined whether because of divine influence or our circumstances actually frees us to find other, more workable solutions to the "problems" life seems to throw at us occasionally.

Faith and trust and belief
It has occured to me through recent times and times before that the time we feel that we are walking alone, and the times we feel as though we have no divine team and that there is nothing there in the way of spiritual assistance and divine intervention are the times when our situation seems the toughest. I have felt myself feeling and saying, "So, where are you now? Where are you when I need you the most? What do I do?" I hear silence sometimes.
It occurs to me also, that it is really easy to have faith and trust, it is easy to show strength and purpose when everything is going right in your/my world. Not so easy, (or so it would seem) when things are not.
While I shout my "challenge" to the universe, and I pretend to hear no reply; in actual fact I know that my team is there. I hear a whisper in my mind reminding me that I have just got to let go, have strength and trust and a bit of faith and I will be able to hear again. It is easy to get so involved on the human plane that I forget to listen, I forget to ask, I forget to connect with the divine and my team and cannot see past my own nose. It is then that I feel let down and rail at the universe. When I stop and breathe, I can hear my team beside me, where they are always, and I remember that all I have to do is ask, to connect with the divine within me and to once again release all the human fears and concerns and comfort and guidance are clear and loud.
Our team NEVER leaves our side, our team NEVER abandons us, we sometimes forget how to listen. Remembering to love, to listen, to learn and to be comforted especially when things seem hard, is THE single most valuable skill I have "remembered" on my journey.
I forget, I cry out at the injustice I see around me, I am hurt and heart wounded, in these moments I find my true strength...surrender, forgiveness, love and the ability to ask, with humility, to be delivered by my team when the easiest course would be to give in, give up and refuse to acknowledge that the divine exists at all or lay blame at their feet.

Recognise your value
There is a great danger inherent in attributing your sense of self, your confidence and your value based on the opinion of others, whether they be people who love and cherish you, or people who are less than friendly, or even people you don't know.
Just by being the person you are, with all the things that make up you, you are contributing something valuable to the world. Every breath you take, and every time your heart beats, your love energy contributes to the whole.
You are a valuable person this planet, and it's people and all that is in it, needs you and the gifts you have to offer. It is not necessary to be anyone else, who you are is more than enough, it is perfect.
You may never know the people you positively influence, you may never truly realise the small but invaluable gifts you give others, you may even be surprised at how many celebrate the fact you are a part of their lives.
Just remember that you are loved, that the only opinion that counts is your own. Keep faith and believe in your ability to be the perfect you...this is all that is required.
Let go of the need to be anyone other than who you are.

A plea for kindness
Today I am feeling a little heart weary. I feel as though, of this great BIG world, with so MANY opportunities to practise caring and forgiveness, that so many choose arrogance, meanness and nastiness instead.
I know that the people who read my posts, are soulful and divine beings (in fact we are all divine beings *sad smile*) who, like I, do their very best each day to be their divine selves and live in love. Otherwise, why would you read these posts? This gives me a great deal of comfort, so for that you all have my genuine thanks.
Each day, as I step out of my sacred and safe place (my home) and walk out into the world, I surround myself with an impermeable shield of love and joy. Lately, that shield is copping a bit of a beating.
I am finding, that when people are offered the choice between an action that will promote joy and one which will cause hurt and pain, far too often, they are choosing to give pain. My heart is hurting today because I bear witness to so many opportunities for love and forgiveness passing by unnoticed.
Today I offer a plea to all, be kind; when the moment comes where you are offered a choice on joy and pain, CHOOSE the action of giving joy. Walk the walk.
With love and light pouring forth into a hurting world

So, what's next?
When you ask the question, "What do I do next in trying to achieve or follow my life's purpose?" You will ALWAYS receive and answer. The oft times frustrating part of that is that you get each step one at a time. For someone of my "somewhat" controlling nature and personality, this can really drive me NUTS! *laugh* Never the less, by following that inner guidance, gently nudging me one way or another, using my intuition and heart rather than believing anything my head tells me, I always find myself further along the path than I started and feeling mighty pleased by how easy it was to get here.
As each step is completed, another appears at my feet. I step onto each one with complete faith and confidence that, when I reach my foot out for the next one, it will be there.
The best thing about that is that when I first began my journey of actually LISTENING and following the guidance of the divine and my heart, I wanted desperately to have a safety net. I would cling desperately to one step until I KNEW for sure there was something to step on to. Occasionally I would go back a step just to feel more comfortable, or I would attach a "life line" and take only half a step. Each time I moved forward though, and found there was always a next step, I grew in confidence; I knew I was not just "making this stuff up" and now? Well now I take a running leap, spread my arms wide and hurl myself off the edge singing the whole time *smile*
This is not to say I always get the direction right, however, the other really important part of this process that I have learnt (and usually the hard way) is that if/when I get it wrong, I get wrapped up in gentle, loving wings and lowered to the ground.
You will definitely know if the messages you are getting are from the divine because they are always positive, uplifting and repetitive in nature (got to love angel pester power *laugh*)

Synchronisity
I am often in wonder of all the amazing synchronisities there are when I actually started listening to my divine team *huge smile* This is one of the primary signs or messages I receive from my team.
Basically, there are no such things as coincidences, especially when those "coincidences" seem to happen repeatedly over a period of time.
Usually, something like this begins with an impulse or a feeling. For example, I might "feel" like there is some times I need to complete for the day, when I wake up, I feel a sense of urgency or a spot that seems to need filling. Initially, I may ignore this impulse or half remembered dream. Later, I get in the car and the first line I hear may be a song about writing, creativity and following your heart. This may give me a little jolt, but I have been known to just ignore these ones too *wry grin* As I get to work, I check my emails and one of the spam emails is about a short story writing competition (this may not seem strange except they usually target teachers for these things, I'm teach Math, Art and Science as subjects, not English). I move along with my day, and overhear a snatch of conversation about storytellers. I pick up my little one from childcare, and the carer tells me all about how my little one is such a great storyteller, and refers to the fact that I write stories. Something is definitely pushing at the boundary between conscious and subconscious now *smile* We turn on sesame Street when we get home and what do you know, there's a talking book! I jump on face book and there are several statuses about writing and creativity and seeking the signs from the divine...throwing my hands in the air, I say, "OK, OK, I get it" Sitting down to the computer, an entire story flows from my finger tips, a blog post I don't even recall writing, or know I've done until I hit publish, and a few emails typed and sent!
Synchronisity!

Find and choose JOY!!!!
Today I was reminded that the most important thing we can grow to understand is that happiness and joy are our birthright, they do not in any way shape or form have to be earned, nor can they be taken from us.
When I say, "find joy" I am not referring to finding and seeking out things that make you joyful (although this is extremely beneficial as well) I am talking about actually choosing joy no matter what....
You see, happiness and joy are right there inside of you, they are a part of you no matter what is going on in the world around you or in your current circumstances. I know I sound a bit like Pollyanna, but is that really a bad thing?
Joy and happiness have a magic all of their own. Choosing to express and feel and immerse yourself in joy has the power to affect what is actually happening, to change your experiences, circumstances and perceptions.
Close your eyes and imagine the budding rose that resides deep within your soul. Watch as the petals slowly start to unfold. Feel the love, joy, happiness and bliss that is inside swell with the petals and expanding rosy/gold light enveloping you. This is your joy, this is your birthright, this is inside you no matter what.
Embrace joy and happiness no matter what is happening, hold onto that feeling and push it in front of you wherever you go as a barrier to negativity.

Being at the pointy end
Being a the "pointy end" simply means to be a forerunner, a person who leads and comes first; it is a saying meaning that you are the one who goes first to lead the way for others. Those of us who choose the path of love, light and forgiveness over all other considerations, even of race and creed, may well be considered to be at the "pointy end" of the spiritual path.
It is exciting to know that in some small way, we, as light workers, may lead others (mainly by example) to lead their own perfect lives, and in turn that others will lead theirs and so on until a virtual avalanche of people choose to follow the path of perfect and divine health and well-being! Whoohoo! (Especially when it is phrased like that *smile* sounds impressive doesn't it?)
There are some decided disadvantages too, and I think it is important to know them and to understand them. In doing this, we can be more prepared for the "human" affects.
Firstly, there is often no-one to lead the way for us; by definition, we are the for-runners and therefore no one has walked this way first and so can advise us, guide us, warn us of the pitfalls etc. If you are feeling like you are alone and wandering at times, don't loose heart and think that you are alone in your beliefs. Understand that this is a part of the journey at times, but that there are more of us than you may think.
The second disadvantage I suppose is that we are so different from those around us that at times it seems unbearable to be included in things that others are doing. This in turn can lead to a real sense of loneliness and isolation. In reality, we are never alone for our team walks with us. This doesn't seem to be much consolation at times when we might just be yearning for a great big, human, hug *laugh* This is why the advent of blogs and social networking sites are so much of an advantage to us. Two of the people I am closest too, who I can confide in, who walk the same path as I do (but in their own way of course), who I learn from and sometimes teach, who I feel I can truly speak my mind to without fear of judgement...well, both live 1800km away from me, yet I speak and share with them everyday. It doesn't always stop the feeling of a sense of isolation (after all a virtual hug is just not the same is it?) but it does mean that it is possible to communicate with other like minded souls, even if they are a world away.
As far as I know and understand, these are the only disadvantages to being at the "pointy end" so to speak. Not really all that much is it considering the influence we lay down by living our own perfect life and reaching out to the world with only love and forgiveness in our hearts may actually change the way energy flows and help countless live their dreams too just by being who we are.
It is perfectly understandable to feel lonely, frightened, tired and sometimes depleted by the work we do as forerunners. Nourish your soul and yourself at these times, be gentle with yourself and move on.
