FEATURED ARTISTS AT CONNOTATION PRESS

Connotation Press has been kind in publishing the collaborative effort, PROOF, by Swoon and me along with a joint interview and the three poems included in the film (one of which is published for the first time here).

Thanks, Swoon, for being a fantastic partner in crime. And thank you so much, Ken, for your genuine support and interest in this and all work featured at Connotation Press.

A WOMAN'S SHOE, AN EMPTY BOTTLE, A SEXTANT BOX

That non-fiction piece I wrote about the time the sky came down to resurrect the body of Amelia Earhart is now live at In Between Altered States. Ok, you got me; it's (mostly) fiction. Thanks Aleathia!

SIGNS OF WOLVES AT FOUR AND TWENTY

I have a new piece in the December issue of Four and Twenty. Head over there and read SIGNS OF WOLVES. Buy it a beer and tell it your troubles; it loves you like that. Thanks Vinnie, Geoff, and Kay!

PLATO'S LOST NOTEBOOKS &OTHER ODDITIES

I have three pieces in the December 2011 issue of NAP: Two in which I translate entries found in never before glimpsed notebooks of an entity known as Plato, and one in which I briefly attempt to explore the dimension found only in the nether-fluorescence found in grocery holes.

WITH JUST THE BEER LIGHT TO GUIDE US

If you don't know about Unshod Quills, let this note serve as an official, "Why not?" Editor Dena Rash Guzman runs a tight ship, and she has been kind enough to include two of my pieces in Issue 3 on the themes of David Bowie and Dancing about Architecture. Thanks, Dena!

TWO NEW PIECES UP AT CUR.REN.CY

I have two new pieces, A RUSH & A PUSH and THE BLACK &WHITE, up at CUR.REN.CY. My gratitude goes to editors Dale Wisely, Howie Good, and F. John Sharp for providing such a thoughtful venue for response regarding these "tough economic times."

LIKE A LIT STACK OF BOSSES

Mud Luscious kingpin, JA Tyler, has assembled a firecracker of a special issue of [PANK] to coincide with the release of the Stamp Stories Anthology. Yes, fifty words or less by some of the most compelling word hustlers in the game. To say I'm honored to be included would be an understatement. You should probably get some!

THREE NEW WORD SHADES

I'm happy to have three pieces up at Nailpolish Stories today. Who knew exactly 25 words based on nailpolish colors could be so much fun? Thanks, Nicole!

EVERYTHING MONDAY IS FRIDAY AGAIN

Last week was a good week for poems I wrote, and here's why:

1. Find out what it takes to make a mockingbird come undone: My poem ODE TO OUR MARKS YOURS &MINE is up at HOUSEFIRE.

2. No wikipedians were injured in the making of these poems: 3 featured in the Ten Pages Press Reader V2 (one at the site, two more in the reader).
