Today's outdoor adventures

Comic

With a broker open house this morning and another showing this evening, we spent a fair deal of time outside today. Which, as you'll see by the photos, was not such a bad way to spend a day.

Posting and Podcasting

Comic

Late post as the day was filled with cleaning, then vacating the house for a showing. And now I'm about to jump on the Webcomic Alliance Podcast. Off I go again.

Podcasting time

Comic

I have a few podcasts coming up, starting with the Webcomic Alliance tomorrow night. I'll post the listening details once I have them. In the meantime don't miss their phenomenal website. It is packed with just about everything you need to know about webcomics. And if you don't find what you're looking for, just ask 'em. They're really swell.

Filling in the blanks.

Comic

Getting the strips up for last Friday through Sunday. Sorry for the lag, but when I'm so far behind deadlines, the site kind of gets dumped in the back seat.

Also, feel free to click the little +1 button under the strip. Thanks!

Pen Review: Marvy Markers

Comic

Marvy 4300 LePen Porous Point Marker Pen - Fine Point - Oriental Blue - MARVY 43290

I'm continuing my reviews of the gifts the awesome people at Jetpens.com sent me. And another huge thank you to Brad at Jetpens heaven. You can also find him at his invaluable pen blog, the pen addict.

This time I'm reviewing the Marvy Markers. I had my eye on these for awhile, but hadn't snagged any as I don't use colored markers that often.

As fate would have it, I was planning on using tools that I don't use often for a new project. Including colored fine line marker pens. So the bottom line, after getting to try these out thanks to Brad, is I'll be ordering more. If you like fine tipped felt pens you'll enjoy these. Sharp color and very responsive on the paper. Can't speak to the longevity of the tip, but seems pretty sturdy so far.

You can pick some up here:

Tachikawa Linemarker A.T Sketch Pen - 0.1 mm - TACHIKAWA LM-01BKAnd I wanted to know if anyone had tried the Tachikawa Linemarkers yet. I noticed Jetpens just added them, but as I haven't had much success with their other manga pens, I'm wondering if these are an improvement.

You can check them out here:

Google Plus

Comic

Ya, I'm on the latest and greatest social network from Google. So far it seems like a sleeker version of Facebook. Just the bare bones, which is a good thing. Not quite as simple as twitter but it's certainly not overloaded with apps and ridiculous games and such.

If you're on G+ you can find me here:
