A Tardis and Guest Art

Comic

Just look at this art that James Anderson sent me. He's the creator of one of my favorite strips, "Ellie on Planet X", and took the time to whip this up:

Tropical Breeze Irene

Comic

Storms blown past. We were pretty fortunate in that Irene didn't turn out to be the sequel to "2012″ as the local news was touting it to be. One tree will need to be chopped down right away and that's about it. Although, from Sophie's perspective, the backyard is now a Wholesale Club that only carries sticks.

Going Vertical

Comic

Every once in a while, you just gotta change your orientation. Now I could've done this one in landscape format, but I thought the last panel worked better this way. Of course, it's a bit of pain for people reading it in the papers.

Begging Loophole

Comic

Got the strip up today as opposed to tomorrow. Just finished a rough picture book dummy. Here's just a little peek. Remember it is rough:

Dragon Flies and Graphic Novels

Comic

Getting His Sidekicks: Dan Santat

Don't miss this one! "Sidekicks" is a gloriously beautiful graphic novel by Dan Santat. It's one of those books you try to read slowly so you don't burn through it in two minutes then drop into the fetal position from withdrawl.  And  it's one you can read with your kids.

You can order it in a bunch of places, but swing by Dan's site and order it from him. I think he's still signing copies.

Leash Pullers

Comic

Can't believe I never wrote this strip earlier.

Oh, and there's some art for sale on ebay too. A percentage goes to the Wounded Warrior Foundation as always:
