What do you think of forming an American all-woman writer and artist comics company, along the lines of Japan's CLAMP?

I think it could be great. A lot of the busiest women in the industry are kinda set against this kind of thing, though, they feel it stigmatizes them.

Dating The Supers...

Okay, the question here is DATING, not necessarily mating…but who would you choose to date out of the following teams? You can only pick ONE from each team.

SECRET SIX

THE MOVEMENT

BIRDS OF PREY

COMICS AVENGERS

MOVIE AVENGERS

JUSTICE LEAGUE

JUSTICE SOCIETY

TEEN TITANS

Just wonderin’!

What's the name of mouse #25,301 and what's its story?

Escobar, and he was born in a fruit crate in the back of an unclean shop down by the wharf. He was surrounded by tougher, larger wharf rats, but was able to get by because he had a sense of humor and could get into smaller spaces to steal stuff from local apartments.

comicbookcosplay:

I really wanted to make this costume for a long time. I really love Zee, enough to make this costume. I spent a long time reading JLA vol 1 for references, and even when I couldn’t do the headpiece in snake form (because of my lack of abilities xD), I ended up doing the late scorpion sting one. I’m pretty happy with the outcome, my feet hurts, but I’m very, very happy…

It always amazes me, how some costumes that look great in comics don’t translate well to real life, but also how some costumes that look a little goofy in comics look amazing on the right cosplayer.

Look at how fantastic she looks in this outstanding cosplay. I have never liked this outfit in the books, but here it just looks amazing. Well DONE!

Folks...

I’m not even reading the hatemail anymore. Too much rampant misogyny and homophobia and plus, some of you don’t seem to know how to curse very well. There’s an art to it, which clearly some of you aren’t getting.

I think J.K.R. could have mentioned Dumbledore’s being gay in canon without much effort and too much positive effect.

You disagree, that’s fine. Not a big deal, no lack of respect on this end.

Sending me hatemail about it just makes you look ridiculous, and since it’s all anonymous, I suspect quite a lot of it is the same handful of people over and over. You want to believe I am disrespecting Rowling or the Potter books, that’s your business. You want to believe I am jealous, that’s your oddball assumption. I am crazy about J.K.R. and the entire series and reread it at least once a year.

Feel free to keep writing, but it’s kind of pointless, as I’m no longer reading.

Have a lovely day!

Gail, I'd like to say that I'm very frustrated with you! Because of how good Batgirl, my first comic was, I've come to expect that class of writing in other N52 comics. I don't need to say how that turned out. The only place with writing in the same league

Well, that is a very nice way to start my Tuesday! :)

But I have to say, there are some terrific writers in the other DC books. Jeff Lemire, Scott Snyder, Jimmy Palmiotti and Justin Grey, there’s a bunch. Hope you keep enjoying!

Guess who has their own series once again? Harley Quinn returns in a zero issue, with a cover by Amanda Conner.

I am looking forward to this more than anything. These two are going to kick unbelievable ass with Harley, I bet!
