If Superman is the "day", and Batman is the "Night", then what does Wonder Woman represent to you?
Both.

The brilliant artist I work with on Red Sonja, Walter Geovani, sent me the original art to this AMAZING two page spread, as a gift. This small capture of it can’t possibly convey how amazing it looks full size as a two page spread of art. It’s incredible.
I am going to frame it and put it in my hallway where I can see it every day.
I swear to god, sometimes this is the BEST JOB IN THE WORLD.
I agree with on the costume thing, but I was wondering, in regards to Supergirl, that while she is bulletproof and it makes a bare midriff situation make sense, since she was raised and grew up in a place where she wasn't, that she'd be less likely to jump
That’s a good point, except, wasn’t she also raised in a place where she wasn’t being shot at all the time? So why WOULDN’T she go with the fashion she liked?

Supergirl with a bare midriff? Makes sense. She’s bulletproof.
Huntress with a bare midriff? What the f**k are you DOING!?
Storm with high heels? Makes sense. She can fly.
Black Canary with high heels? YOU’RE A MARTIAL ARTIST for CRYIN’ OUT LOUD!
…
The ‘I Dare You’ thing was the excuse I went with in my head for the belly window, and I could JUST BARELY see Helena having enough vanity to be willing to show off her abs.
But I kinda feel they undermined her a bit. Her mission was never about how she looked, it was about kicking the mob in the ass.

Agreed right down the line.
I read a thread a while back about how I was being ‘hypocritical’ because I defended some female characters’ skimpy costumes.
Which I do.
Power Girl’s boob window doesn’t bother me, it fits her character. Red Sonja’s chainmail doesn’t bother me, she’s a barbarian, it works for her.
At the same time, I hated hated hated Huntress’ belly window and railed against it in public and in private for ages until we got rid of it, only for it to be brought back later. It looks weird, AND it does not fit Huntress’ character at all.
It is purely a matter of characters. Tigra wearing a bikini? Fine, it fits. Sue Storm wearing a thong? That is not right.
I don’t get why this is complicated.
Sorry to continue on the Wonder Woman topic, but who would you see best playing the role?
I keep saying this, but I honestly haven’t got a clue. I don’t know very many actors, I don’t watch much television and have absolutely no connection to celebrity culture. I never know who actors are, so I never have any suggestions for these questions. Sorry!

If I type something random, do I get a Black Canary fact?
There are no Black Canary facts.

Photographer: MSlygh
Model: Rose Palmer
Comments: This is Rose and Thorn, specifically Gail Simone’s 2004 version of her! Looks like Thorn has gotten hold of their body now, and is going to run a muck while Rose is trapped inside the hallway of her mind…

WOW!
That’s stunning!
I know how to book but teach me how to art.
Okay, paper.
PENCIL the paper.
Wrong?
OTHER PENCIL END!
Repeat.
ART!
