If you ever get the chance to write Red Sonja again, would you consider writing her in a lesbian relationship? Me being a lesbian, I'd fully embrace a Sonja story where she has a girlfriend, or a "wench" to play with.

I wrote her as clearly, canonically pansexual. She didn’t really have a romantic relationship, but she definitely had sex with a variety of genders. In the last arc, she propositioned three nuns following a multi-gender orgy.

If I wrote her again, I would write a romance story for her, it could definitely be a woman!

How much time in advance do writers typically get notified about a book being terminated? If you feel like you were unable to wrap up a story arc satisfactorily, are you still allowed to talk about how you would have liked the story to go?

DC is good about giving you time to wrap a story, they tell you well in advance so that you can end the book the way you feel it should end.  I don’t know the procedure elsewhere.

It doesn’t matter how long some books last, there are always stories you wish you could have told!  :)

Do you know why Cass disappeared after Bruce "died"? Was a spin-off planned that never happened? Was she always intended to have made her exit then?

I’m sorry, I really don’t know. I heard one editor say in passing that it was felt that her book had gone ‘soft,’ meaning it had lost direction and needed to be refocused, but that was quite some time ago.

Sorry, I'm new to Cass Cain but what was her book that ran a long time?

She was BATGIRL and her book was quite successful.

Do you think Cassandra Cain will ever be as "front and center" as she used to be again? Could you see her getting her own ongoing and being featured in other media?

She needs some champions in the dc offices. I think they like her, but feel Barbara is a bigger name to promote.

Cassandra had a hit book that ran a long time, an INCREDIBLY rare feat for a WOC at the big two.

But I don’t know if the newest generation of readers really KNOW her that well, she hasn’t been around much for years.

I hope she gets a spotlight. I love her to pieces. :(

There's only one episode of 11.22.63, how do you feel?

SAD!

I watch almost no tv but this thing has me hooked. I actually think it’s better than the novel!
