Dinah is bisexual, in my headcanon. I don’t know who Laurel is.

While at Emerald City Comic Con I was happy to tell folks & point out how you & your booth could be a safe space. I was sad I couldn't stop by after a janitor was kicking me out of the gender neutral bathroom for not looking right. No word from ECCC.

I have heard of this a couple times today and I must say I am stunned and disappointed. My GUESS is that this had nothing to do with ECCC but is a function of the Convention Center. I have honestly never been to a con that has made more of a point of getting the anti-harassment, pro-diversity message out there, it’s everywhere. It’s the first thing you see as you enter and exit, it’s in all the programming literature.

I can’t say for sure, and I SURELY will not defend them if I am wrong, but my guess is that they have nothing to do with janitorial. Nevertheless, it is a miserable fucking thing to hear that this happened to you, it is absolutely inexcusable and infuriating. I am so, so sorry to hear it. My mind is still boggled.

I am going to ask the organizers about this and see if they know anything about it. I hope you are doing okay.  Whatever the cause, this can’t be allowed to happen again, period.

SCRIPTS AT ECCC!

I know I say this every time, but if you would like a signed script at Emerald City Comic Con, PLEASE come early. We sold out of almost everything by morning of the second day in Chicago.

I have fifteen copies of five scripts, they are fifteen dollars each, and we never reprint an issue when they are gone. They ALWAYS sell out. If you want one, you do not have to wait in line, just tell the tall guy next to me. Also, we added CLEAN ROOM #1 and it has cussing! :)
