Still more Secret Six. Another one suggested by Gail Simone herself. Knockout, Liana, and Scandal Savage done Betty and Veronica-style (with Scandal done more Archie style). This one was fun, but, man, working in this idiom takes discipline and restraint. Pitt pens on crappy sketchbook paper. If I keep this up, I may have to break out the bristol board.

It's not 'ignoring the problem' if you quit acknowledging it, the problem becomes a non-issue. There's a difference. If minorities keep calling attention to themselves, then it's just going to continue. People need to quit seeing themselves as minorities and start seeing themselves as people or Americans. I mean, you can still be proud of your heritage, but quit calling attention to it when it's irrelevant, when it's only being used as an excuse or a crutch.
And as far as learning about your own history, that's your fault. You should have pursued it on your own if you cared that much. Don't wait for someone to present it to you and spoon-feed it to you. It obviously shows that you don't really care /that/ much. Just shows how contradictory your argument is.
Besides, why are you only calling attention to 'black' people? What about the Italian-Americans who were discriminated against, where's their month? What about the Irish-Americans, where's theirs? What about the Asian-Americans.
I think I've made my point clear. =]

Another member of the Secret Six. This is Gail Simone's fault. I had Catman pegged as Reggie, but she suggested that he should be Kevin Keller instead, and she's totally right. So here you go. Not so much DeCarlo influence in this one. More Dan Parent. Kevin came along after Dan shuffled off this mortal coil, so he never got to draw him. This was a serious exercise in self discipline, too, because I struggle to keep things simple.Pitt pens on crappy sketchbook paper again. Next up? I wonder how DeCarlo would have drawn Bane. I know he drew Batgirl and Ivy once.
