Dumb Things White People Say: Tumblr Conversations About Racism:

Why is it that twenty conversations a day on my Tumblr feed seem to go like this, over and over?

WHITE PERSON: Me me me me me me me me my feelings me me my opinions me insistence on non-racist credentials of a highly dubious nature me me me.

POC: Other…

Dude, I KNOW. Also, is it okay if you take time out of your day every day to educate every person on every facet of race individually even though you have a FAQ section and talk about this stuff all day long already, and also would you please validate their wonderfulness and special insight for engaging you at all, and if it's not too much to ask would you please be a dear and print them up a quick embossed and laminated "Not A Racist" certification card?

Otherwise, HOW WILL WE LEARN?

CSI: Themyscira

One of my favorite pages of art from any story I have done. Diana taking that creep's sunglasses makes me joyful to this day.

I was admiring the original art, and I told the artist at a con how much I loved this page, and he gave it to me on the spot.

There are benefits to being a comic book writer!

Found my missing marker, so I decided to finish it :D

I love Ragdoll so much it's absurd.

I don't know what to say, that's absolutely beautiful!

Wouldn't It Be Great If...

…the Ugandan people made a terribly condescending and distorted film to raise awareness about the plight of Jason Russell?

It could be called INVISIBLE DRUNKEN PUBLIC SELF-FORNICATORS.

Tumblr Conversations About Racism

Why is it that twenty conversations a day on my Tumblr feed seem to go like this, over and over?

WHITE PERSON: Me me me me me me me me my feelings me me my opinions me insistence on non-racist credentials of a highly dubious nature me me me.

POC: Other people, though.

WHITE PERSON: ME. Me me me me me me me. WEIRD SENSE OF UNEARNED AUTHORITY!   DECLARATION OF FICTIONAL REVERSE INEQUALITY! ACCUSATION OF BULLYING WHILE YELLING!

POC: But, the rest of the world, though. Everyone ELSE, though.

WHITE PERSON: MEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!

POC: I give up.

WHITE PERSON:  Racist!

Dear White People Including Me: Don't say you're listening if YOU ARE NOT LISTENING.

You know Renee's an action girl when two Bat-ladies have to enquire each other about their acquaintance with her.

Oh HOW I wished this had happened in the comics.

I could see it. I know it's just me, but I could see Renee with Huntress more easily than with Batwoman. I know, it's not canon. But it seems a better fit, somehow…they are a blast together.

Don't kill me.
