I just happened to pass by the talk show "The Talk" today and was so happy they played the 911 calls and spoke about this. Any and all media coverage is good for this because Trayvon Martin deserves justice. 

I am incredibly skeptical about the way the mainstream media is handling this. I didn't see the Talk, but I have seen some newscasters look shocked, SHOCKED, like they just heard some people are racist for the first time in their lives. It's bullshit, it's offensive, it does a disservice to Trayvon but also to all the other hundreds of thousands of victims of this same pattern that didn't get this kind of attention.

The upside is, seeing the unshakeable dignity of Trayvon's mom and dad in the face of indescribable loss makes the apologists and excuse-makers look all the more repugnant. Those two have shown a kind of will and compassion and integrity I am not certain I could muster under similar circumstances, in the face of leading questions and ignorant, and even cruel reporting.

Anderson Cooper did a good, quietly dignified piece on this, but some others have been hysterical and all too ready to try to paint this as an isolated incident, as if only by saying this is a unique situation are they allowed to express outrage and grief.

I have this terrible feeling that the wave of bullshit excuse-making from the media is only beginning.

Was Ace the character Bruce sat with in that episode of Justice League? I think she was dying or something like that. It was a really tense and emotional scene because she was a kid I think, and she had this heavy burden to bear.

Anyone have solid details on this? See this picture made me think of that episode.

They both look fantastic and fierce!
