I voted Obama twice, but he lost me with ObamaCare. I went hardcore anti-Democrat after that bullshit.
I know you’re supposed to call it the Affordable (LOL) Care Act, but I call it ObamaCare because that’s where it came from and who, essentially, created it.
I have personally experienced ObamaCare and I can tell you it is one of the worst ideas ever conceived by mankind. You can blame it on a Republican Congress, but that assclown signed it into law.

U.S. insurance giant MetLife is waving goodbye to Snoopy and the Peanuts gang, ending a more than three-decade branding relationship.
The insurance giant said Thursday it was ditching the beloved Charles Schulz characters in favor of a new image that the company claims will reflect “a clean, modern aesthetic.”
The licensing relationship, which Forbes magazine estimated at more than $12 million per year, will come to an end in 2019 as MetLife reveals an updated logo and brand identity. “We brought in Snoopy over 30 years ago to make our company more friendly and approachable during a time when insurance companies were seen as cold and distant,” MetLife global chief marketing officer Esther Lee said in a statement. “Snoopy helped drive our business and served an important role at the time.”
MetLife is currently in negotiations with Sunny Lane as a probable replacement. An adult film star who refuses to do interracial scenes and whose career is managed professionally by her parents, Sunny Lane is “perfect”, according to Lee.
“America has changed,’ Lee added. "Oh, boy, has it changed.”

Mike's Sunday Update
The Cubs finally made it. I don’t just like the Cubs, I HAVE to like the Cubs. They are my son’s team, an infection from his uncle. But, hey, he’s my son and they’re his team so they’re my team, too. Go Cubs. In the World Series, the Cubs will have a decided advantage. They only play cricket in India. Cricket is like baseball without imagination.
Oh, it’s not those kind of Indians, you say? Still, we’re talking Ohio, a state named after the Japanese word for “howdy”.
In political news, Trump did or said some crazy shit and his opponent, Hillary, was handled by her handlers. The merry-go-round goes merrily around.
In personal news, I took a hit of pot, just one, and got all high. You know you’re high when you go to brush something off your shoulder and it’s the floor. This will probably fuck up my CIA piss test (I applied as a temporary agent over the busy holiday season).

In other personal news, I was trying to listen to a Beatles song on Youtube and what a nightmare it was. The song was nowhere to be found. There were only cover versions of it. They have some pretty hardcore copyright cops working for the Beatles catalog, lemme tell you. I had to go to downloadshield and steal the entire catalog, 26 albums, just to hear The Ballad of John and Yoko.

We are going with one last medication (my decision; I am done with him being poked and prodded), an anti-inflammatory to perhaps relieve a bit of his arthritis. The vet is quite surprised that at his age he has no signs of cancer. Hmm.
But either way, the time is nigh. At some point sooner rather than later I am going to have to make a terrible decision.
Sigh.

Often I speak of my dog Duke, whom I love desperately, how he’s getting old.
Well, he’s getting really old and is actually starting to lose the ability to walk. The Duke from August is very different from the Duke of today.
The vet, she has twelve hundred bucks in ideas, but I know he is an old dog, on his last legs. He was a special needs dog before, but now he’s in palliative care, as far as I’m concerned.
Hospice..Pain management…

Oh, no, you don’t. You can’t fault Biden for saying some crazy shit about Trump, while this whole time Trump has been saying crazy shit about everyone and everything just about every single day.
This is what we, and I, love about Trump. I love Biden’s crazy, too, baby. Nonpartisan crazy!
As an aside, I think Biden could totally kick Trump’s ass. Why the fuck didn’t Biden run? Why must we cope with this Hillary shit?
