Mike's Sunday Update

The Cubs finally made it. I don’t just like the Cubs, I HAVE to like the Cubs. They are my son’s team, an infection from his uncle. But, hey, he’s my son and they’re his team so they’re my team, too. Go Cubs. In the World Series, the Cubs will have a decided advantage. They only play cricket in India. Cricket is like baseball without imagination.

Oh, it’s not those kind of Indians, you say? Still, we’re talking Ohio, a state named after the Japanese word for “howdy”.

In political news, Trump did or said some crazy shit and his opponent, Hillary, was handled by her handlers. The merry-go-round goes merrily around.

In personal news, I took a hit of pot, just one, and got all high. You know you’re high when you go to brush something off your shoulder and it’s the floor. This will probably fuck up my CIA piss test (I applied as a temporary agent over the busy holiday season).

In other personal news, I was trying to listen to a Beatles song on Youtube and what a nightmare it was. The song was nowhere to be found. There were only cover versions of it. They have some pretty hardcore copyright cops working for the Beatles catalog, lemme tell you. I had to go to downloadshield and steal the entire catalog, 26 albums, just to hear The Ballad of John and Yoko.

Hey, good work in keeping it off Youtube, though!
